I tried so hard to stop them, to make them see this is nothing more then Elias seeking power for himself not Homin kind. After talking to them failed I tried to use force but they refused my duel requests. Elias just seeks power to be a third faction in this ever-growing war. He is not a god, why should he have such power?
Now it seems they have gotten the attention of a new intelligent Kincher, how long will it take to make this new kitin angry if they keep killing the smaller kitin. I hope for the sake of all Homins that the Kinchers eat them and are satisfied enough to stay in the deep roots.

The Karavan and Kami already do that...so far, I haven't seen much that makes Tryton different from them. He opposes them, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's for homins.

No, Humans...

Jena and her people are human, not homin. Read the lore and you'll see what I mean. The best guess of homins on Atys is that Elias Tryton is at least the same race as Jena, though whether he is her husband is at least questionable to many of us.

Ah the weaknesses in Tryton appear. He will be his own doom I tell you. Hubris is the owner of many crowns. His may be next.

It's frustrating to be stuck up here when our saviours struggle down below fighting off the kitin. It pains me that they cannot even carry the vast quantities of valuable artefacts that are down there. Be strong Elias and company, even the combined Kami and Karavan forces had difficulties with the kitin menace. Use your superior homin guile and cunning to evade them. Have faith in your mission and remember we will all ultimately depend on you, even the blind ones.

Bad this is bad, something is going on down there and they're not telling us what it is. The more I read the letter the more I understand what the kittin are doing. After being in the olds with my sister I've noticed the kittin act differently from the ones in our lands.

These aren't blood thristy beasts like I thought when I was little. It seems that in the sacred old lands the kittin arent blood thirsty but guards. I've watched them they didnt just come off us for food we had to taunt them.

But with all this information still doesnt explain why they invaded our lands and why the kittin in the Void are stuiped and blood thirsty, not to mention they attack every thing that moves.

Could it be that that there's more then one type of kittin? By this i mean could there be species of kittin that are wise and acts as guards and another that live to destory everything. But I could be wrong, these are just what i have read and noticed.

If things get worse they must leave, this mission may be important but homin life comes first. If they die I could never look at the Rangers or myself again.

Tidings wrote:Homins,

Another Bulletin has been recieved from the Tryton expedition:

We are now under constant attack by the kitin. I am taking a brief moment to make this message and relay it back to you. We are all tired, we are all injured. We are wary, we wonder if our seeds will be able to be restored so deep - if we fall. Will the agents of the gods resurrect us given our purpose and our companion? Given how deep we have travelled? we have seen evidence of both Kami and Karavan this deep. Wreckage of devices, fleeting glimpses of the strange, ghost-like Kami. They are aware of us down here but what will they do with us? Our progress is much slower and we get little time to coordinate as we dodge and fight coordinated waves of Kitin that work together even more so than the invasions we have seen above ground. In the last attack Elias himself was wounded, quite severely. Thougt he recovers quickly for the time being he is not the font of boundless strength that he was. Something we really needed down here. Perhaps we well turn back soon.
Somehow, I feel that even if the expedition were to turn around directly after sending this message, it would be too late for them to save themselves. Hopefully they will turn around before it is too late to save our cities and our lands from the forces of destruction they seem bent on awakening.
