It just isn't worth it, I think. Crafters usually get sufficiently rich just selling their grinding results to the merchant and don't need anymore dappers. Choice equipment is worth so little that putting it up for sale isn't even worth the little bit of extra dapper you get if someone buys it. And why would anyone buy it if most people have fairly easy access to excellent and supreme stuff?

On the other hand, if you're selling supreme equipment you'll probably want something better than dapper for it, and the merchants don't have an option for payment in materials. Even if you do want to sell for dapper, would you want to risk loosing your supreme item if nobody has bought it within six days? And there's the personal aspect Ani already mentioned too, many crafters like to know where their items go. Selling through the merchants is so impersonal.

Perhaps we need a merchant system where you can't just instantly buy the item, but instead can only place an offer to let the seller know you're interested, and if they decide to sell it to you they can do so personally for whatever they want in return. If we want to discuss solutions we should probably get our own thread though

Thankies everyone some things to note:

I agree with everything Anissa stated. Would like to emphasize I did put en masse jewlery on the NPCs in the past however, I did this to help. Sure I made some dappers but I dont really need dapper. If I was being profit minded I would have asked for Mats. But the Main Reasons I dont put things on NPCs now are:

1. I dont want people who enjoy killing me (i.e. kami ) to beneift from my work.

2. I really dont feel supreme items or even excellent items are worth dappers. I dont feel like negotiating prices or a number of mats for them either.
and lastly

3. The NPC interface is horrible. First there is no item # count to assist a crafter in what they are looking at as they scroll through. this is extremely annoying to a jewler who just put 12 sets of jewlry on the npcs and people are buying piece meal and nto whole sets. Trying to count whats left is a nightmare. Also the seven day and the npc buys it for a default amount does give some anxiety to ex + gear that may not be in high demand.

To mikelaw, the "miss atys host" title you requested i could never see happening. Yeah you might have put in alot of work for it, but it isnt really something to do with the gameplay!

To anissa, i agree with you too, different combinations of skills should give different titles. I think it would be easy to do.

No totaly i agree that giving sin and itch a personal title would be ace but you have to think about it on the lines that EVERYONE in this game can achive that, Sin is just loopy to play everyday whilst us normal players lmao who play about 6hrs a day

If they gave Sin the title they would have to e.g. Give me the title bc one day il have all 5 Forages to 250

Look at it on the lines that alot of the game is freedom choice e.g. skills and where u can go within reason

What Sin has done is what he choose to do, i respect him enough that hes done this and is the 1st. I dont think sin set out to gain a special title from his achivement.

A. If sin is given a title WAYHEY gz on him for being the 1st
B. If sin doesnt gain a title i still think he should be called Master Of Forage

I dont know about others but I never would request a unique title only available to myself. If they chose to add more titles as they see players are getting to the point where some reward is justify then cool for all of us.

Ya I did it cause I'm a crazy crafter that likes to be able to get whatever mats I need

And the possibilities are interesting. e.g. lvl 201 in healing and defensive affliction could be "Master of Defensive Magic", and it could even mix branches, lvl 150 ranged and lvl 150 heal could be "Ranger", etc (my imagination is limited, there must be way better suggestions)

This would be a wonderful addition.

Concerning the lack of goods on the traders: when I made it to q100 LA crafting I began to sell Excellent clothing in every land, in as many colours as I could manage. I very quickly discovered that there was a 7 day shelf life that I could do nothing about. Given the time and trouble involved in getting Excellent materials which are only available for half the Atys year (9 days out of 18), there was no point in continuing. So I had to close my boutique in just over a week I tried to start a thread complaining about it and asking for some feedback but it would seem that the moderators didn't like it because it never appeared.
