Its not Karavan science.

And Fas is not a Karavan scientist now lets leave it at that cuz this discussion is going nowhere....

but i mean.. how you can see if someone is healer when he didn't heal yet or got a healer title on his name..
i think we shut say that all the healers need a healer title on or they get killed...

Population clash

I find it interesting to note that most of the forum PvP is done by the day shift (original Aristople). The night shift (former Windermeer) is strangely discreet these days. Could there be a big difference in atmosphere and play syle?

Or the size of the playbase...
Or the type of players...
Or the want or need to post...
Or many other reasons.

or are you attempting to start a FvF between Aristople and Windermeer?

On a sidenote if I post at night does that make me and Ex-Windermeer?

Ani, Jy.. your entitled to your opinions ofcourse, and I to mine and that'll be the end of it.

I do however feel that pulling kinchers on the enemy is "using the environment".
They are there.. they are able to be used as weapons against the other side so it will happen. Not only are they there, they are kind of mirrored in their positions on both sides meaning everybody knows where they are and both sides are able to use them. This in my eyes makes it.. fair, and I have no complaint about it, or getting DP for that matter.

It's another one of those things where: You know what can happen in the zone, if it does just deal with it or don't go in there.

If this wasn't a PvP zone I would totaly agree with you, but it's not.
I really can't see how Nevrax could even think of telling us it's a bad thing to do in this area.. They put them in there, they must of realised seriously that it was going to happen. Therefore I think they knew it would and arn't going to complain.. if they do then.. my god.. There would be no words to discribe them. lol..

Congratulations, you were awarded the "Master Thread Necromancer", the title of the day.... :)

* First, in the main forum page, I saw a highlighted thread named "get over it, already". First thought: someone may be telling all nostalgic players that are still lurking around to stop "sigh"ing... that would be really, really, bad taste, but well, I've seen worse, let's see...

* Second, a fast glance at the thread author, familiar name and familiar avatar.. "mtsmith", uoah of course, spiffy, the baddest and meanest tryker!....but, no way he came back to post, with that account, which must be disabled by now, and managed to get a 5 page discussion thread... no way... that's gotta be an old thread :D (good on me, sherlock....)

* Third, date.. when was this wrote? gawk, 2005, I'm getting old....3 yeras already? but Iif I remember myself posting on it... nevermind, someone did manage to cast some necro magic to this one...

* Latest... who the fine did ressurrect this thread? oh that's jackoo... he's feeling nostalgic too I guess :P oh well, let's post, I'm b@w....

Yours,
ani

hmm....

Well in my mind this place was made for PvP and anyone who enters it must deal with whatever happens therein, the whole outside world of atys caters mainly for non-PvP so this little extra made for PvP-ers really doesn't hurt. The only bad thing is this has been the only content now for the best part of a year and there are a few that really aren't into it but can't really boycott it as they feel that this new addition will affect the story and gameplay far into the future.
Now if I was someone that had the power to see into the future I might guess that it won't affect the game afterwards hardly at all. Who know's, maybe Nevrax will just finish the temples off regardless of who happens to be in the lead at the time of it ending. Unfortunately no one knows at this point how this will pan out so we'll just have to play it as each of us sees fit.

At this point we are all running madly into the zone killing everyone we see of the opposite faction. It's only just started so I reckon eventually there will be some sort of organization where the focus is mainly on collecting mats and protecting the diggers rather than mass massacre.

I don't do it and have never agreed with the dragging of aggro to achieve a win, but it hasn't stopped me running straight back into the zone everytime it happens, one big change which would be nice is if they could somehow disable the death penalty from mob kills.......

Kodel

*edit* I tried to rekindle but it isn't the same with only 'Emoters' and no Jyudas to remember and debate with......

*Sighs*, *rolls eyes*, *shakes head*, * opens a beer*..... :P
