"did they broke their promise?"
(no need to answer out loud)

thats all this is about. they say one but do completely opposite.

they really need to make 2 weeks delay for public announcement's in the future, so they are not forced to broke their promise (or really, really grind their PR skill)

Is B@W so joins the fun ;)

"did they broke their promise?" - Yep

"thats all this is about. they say one but do completely opposite." - Nope

They promised to remove them from the patch, your spot on no argument possible as they haven't been removed, just made optional.

The haven't done the opposite, they have made them optional an option not considered by anyone up to the point of announcement. They actually said it wasn't possible to include both animation sets.

To me I would guess it went something like this.....

- The new animations are put in a patch.
- Jess doing her job spots that this animations are not on the release notes.
- Jess goes to the devs and kicks 7 bells out of the team responsible for the patch as she has been embarrassed a few times before by this kind of thing.
- Jess tells them to take them out of the patch
- team says "what about all our effort putting them in?"
- Jess says "You make me look like a noob! I am going to get my own back, lets see what the players think!"
- team says "No! Don't ask the players, what do they know! Our work is perfect and they will love it!"
- Jess says "WE WILL ASK THE PLAYERS!"
- team says "ermmm, ok"

Poll created based on the info know -

All or nothing, only on set allowed on the server.

Result - No have the highest vote.

- Jess says "see you were wrong, the players hate them! Don't do anything silly like that again!"
- team says "*sob* evil players *sob* my lovely work *sob* ermmm Jess, you know we said we could only put one set on the server...."
- Jess says "....Yes..."
- team says "...Well.... It will take us a week to rebuild the patch without them, but....."
- Jess says "....Yes..."
- team says "...we could hack the patch a bit and include both."
- Jess says "When are you people ever going to tell me everything! Do it and get this patch out the door and don't let me catch you doing stuff like this again. I am sure the players won't mind getting a choice, but I mind you making me look like a fool!"
- team says "Sorry"

So we get to play with both sets of animations for a short while.
We get the patch only slightly delayed.

We are going to get the chance to vote on each and every animation. We get to cherry pick. That sounds good to me.

Going home now ... have fun

Now there is one thing I'd like to know:
When "player1" uses the new animations, "player2" doesn't use them, now will "player2" see "player1" using the new animations or will "player2" see "player1" using the old animations?

p.s. didn't read all posts before so sorry if it was asked already

He means you'll see all players using whichever animation you set (I think). So player 2 will see player 1 using old animation.

edit: oh and rofl @ Neun

When we have the new poll can it be COMPLETELY granular.

EG:

The Fyros Male Run is good
The Fyros Male Run is bad
The Fyros Male Walk is good
The Fyros male Walk is bad
The Fyros male sit is good
The fyros male sit is bad

So that we can express our opinion on every, single animation?
