I kinda guessed it would be something like this. My only concern is Nevrax depending on this user created content to keep subscribers rather than putting resources into their own events and story. I hope they assure us that the amount of new content and fixes to the current game wont be affected by this.

This is extremely cool, and I'm looking forward to sculpting my little corner of Atys  I will strive for lush beauty and lots of fun in... um... Keoniopoli maybe? :D

I share the concerns about possible cheesy leveling maps, or too-easy availability of supreme mats and such... but, hopefully, the good folk at Nexrax have thought that through, and have some sort of automatic limitations placed on user-created zones, to either prevent this entirely or make it more difficult to do.

I've been following all the activty of E3 avidly as I do every year. PS3 and XBOX 360, 3 MSGs, Killzone 2 (I worked on the first one (QA) so I'm very impressed at the progress. So proud!) and so much more.

This is the biggest announcement I've seen in some time. I'm pleased to be a part of a game that has made an announcement big enough for me to just stare and go "wow!". No other major MMORPG has provided this level of user content (Second Life is more a playground than a game) and I'm very interested in how well it'll be implemented and how it will integrate with the game itself. I don't want people to be writing the history of our world in their own. It has a lot of potentail but that's what I always say about Ryzom as a whole.

They don't even manage to give individual permissions to guild storage or player appartments. LOL.

This whole thing sounds to me like the biggest rouse ever created. There is absolutely nothing else then marketing crap on the website and already people are putting high hopes in it.

Not going to buy anything they tell anymore before I see solid prove in form of a working ATS environment.

You know what consistently surprise me?

How little 'press' SoR gets in events, reviews, and news site.

This really make me wonder how true this is.

Is everybody certain this thing is real? It might even be a random player creating a little webpage...
It's not like it holds much info on the game, nor does it seem to really relate to the official webpage of Ryzom. I'd expect it to be more in the same style as the official webpage...

If I missed anything on another forum; my bad, but this does seem to be weird, didn't even hear rumors about this before i read this thread.
