Karavan the 'pure version' - proctected by their suits
Kami the 'goo/atys version' - infected cas they took off their protection.
Deranged Homin vs Homin
Boss Mobs vs Mobs
Who knows?
The one think we know for certain is, we just don't know!
Here is a little theory of mine on who the karavan are:
Humans from Earth O_O
Unlikly but a possibility, shaped like humans (possible the homin races come from genetically modified versions) the date on Atys would be consistant with an Earth date if this was true (26th Century). Something that may be possible is the homins are genetically modified humans grown on Atys so they can use magic, which the karavan possibly can't to such a degree, hence the dependance on technology.
It is also possible the Karavan are half machine, half human.
Of course this is another of my unfounded theories.

"Nanoseed"
Zorai masks were made for them by genetic manipulation.
Nanoseed just has to be DNA surely.
"The Ryzom"
Rhizome dictionary def: "A horizontal, usually underground stem that often sends out roots and shoots from its nodes. Also called rootstalk, rootstock." Greek rhizma; "mass of roots".
"My Theory"
We discover something like a mother-root and learn nanoseed manipulation and grow us some pets that we design/create. Then we train em up and send em off to kill our enemies.

There is a 'seed', a nanoseed that seems to be a focus for resurrection, possibly sap manipulation (magic) too, in each homin (in all life on atys too?) this is used by kami + kara tps to reform the body and restore life, probably used with normal healing spells too, may even be why we cannot attack other homins who are not our enemy. If the seed is damaged then the resurrection fails, age seems to damage it too, so we will of old age, but may well live far longer than a homin without a functioning seed.

Yeah, good call on bringing this thread up. Somehow I missed it the first time around.
