How many times have you been harvesting or "testing something" and had somebody on Region requesting someone to help them fight and completely ignored it? Nobody in NA (virtually) feels like they should interact with anyone who isn't in their guild, unless they have something they need or the person directly asks them a question. The point of an MMO isn't scaring off all the new or potential players by telling them how much the game sucks and it's going to die, etc. etc. The point is to INTERACT. I do know that Tetra, Raynes and Lyrah do interact, that is likely the only reason some of them are still here. We need to get organized, let Nevrax keep doing what they have been doing the past couple weeks (i.e. actually beginning to address major bugs and players issues) and actually DO SOMETHING TOGETHER. Screw the KAMI vs. KARAVAN BS FOR NOW. If all our races work together, we can start laying some major beatings on things like Aen and the cloppers on clopper hill. Hell, we could even have some RP events! One of my guildies Ambika has even joined and RP acting troupe. Things are happening, you just have to take part, or at least engage yourself in making your own mini events.

One of the things I like doing sometimes is hanging around the Pyr teleporter and assisting new players... doing that will go much further to helping the game than saying the world is going to end. Being an Izam Little doesn't help when you were just conked on the head with a bit of bark you know. I have even managed to meet some trial account members at the tele who are now subcribers and loyal Hotdoggers. The MORE people we can encourage to join the more fun will be had by all, and the more Nevrax will be able to financially support their staff. Who knows Tetra, maybe the guy/gal who was in charge of ranged is taking a vacation until there is enough money from our few piddling subsriptions to pay their salary.

Why whine about the whiners? You can only go so long before it is rediculous. Do you think ANYONE on these boards have managed to avoid reading the rants? Not likely. Why do fanboys/gals read threads like this? Well, it reflects on the community. How many people read this thread, how many posted to it? Really we should applaud or UK pals for coming over to our forums and chipping in their two pence, interacting is what this whole thing is about.

IF I am on the NA server and a player near where I am needs a rez...I run over and rez them...once their timer hits 2min or less (agro is GONE, to not wait is suicide and will do them NO good). If I am online and someone asks a question in region...and I have the answer...I tell the region (openly share info).

Now on ATS your discussion is MOOT. NO ONE uses the regional chat, no one asks, no one groups, and needing a rez pretty much means you are respawning. ATS is multinational from my understanding (I have spoken in tells with a Brit, and a Frenchman or woman) so the population SHOULD be much higher...but it is NOT.

When I am TESTING something...I am ON THE ATS...not the NA, and yes, I tend to put on my blinders and go into "I am ALONE, aint NO body here but ME" mode. But I normally log on, test something and log off.

YES I applied for and qualified for the ATS. I am a genuine tester, that makes suggestions, via email as often as they offer ATSers tests.

Hi there, are you the nice British person that kept me company for so long that one time? Or are you another lone soul on a mission?

FYI my ATSers are...Lyrah (female matis), Lorris (female Tryker extrodinare, best at dying with NO less than 15 to 25 mobs...hey...if ya know you are dead...go with STYLE!), GentleWind (female Zorai...Tracker of mission nodes everywhere  ), Testus (Female mek riding Fryosian Desert goddess, and not in the least bit vain...), and Ferra (Fyrosian dessert digger)

And ANY ATSer that catches me on, I will chat with you, if you have info to share or need info and I got it...let's swap info and tell our tales of biggest overkill while trying to reach another land (my record was FOUR mobs hitting me with their zap spell for MAX damage at the same time, I think it was over 5.5k when you add it all up  I figured once I added it up, that rez shouldn't have even been feasable, rez WHAT?! my ashes?! )

That's an unfortunate fact with which we have to live. However, at times it seems Nevrax is not even doing basic testing of their 'fixes'. For example how long would it take to prospect a source and attempt to target it with the spacebar before implementing a so called 'spacebar fix"? That is very basic imo and even a 15 francs an hour tester could point it out. And how many tries does it take to fix the darn water bug; 4-5? etc., etc., etc...

If they're not sitting on their butts as it's been suggested, then some level of incompetence and lack of best practices comes to mind. I have played other MMORPGS and they all have bugs and could use more content, but some of the bugs in Ryzom are down right laughable.

Let's tell it like it is without fear of beeing called whinners and pretentious - greater quality and improvement will not come without it from what I have seen so far. Do you think Nevrax would tolerate any 'bugs' in your payment delivery to them?

Now I am starting to take personal offence.

1) I am not sure which cave you lived in for the last 5 years, but France uses the Euro. Not funny.
2) I am a software tester myself and I oohh, do I ph33r your 7331 arrogance.
3) Can someone tell my why I waste time on this?

Nevermind, I already regret that I will be clicking Submit reply in a few seconds ;)

Exactly. Or take the one that I use as a prime example, the encylopedia bug. It was annouced to be launched on Jan 6th as one of the big features of update 2. It ended up having a bug so bad in it, the encylopedia itself was useless. It's not like it would of taken hours upon hours of testing to find the bug either. The day it came out I ran home on my lunch hour and tried the first rite. I found the bug in less than 1 hour. It wasn't a bug that occured every so often, it occured in 100% of users. The entire thing would of been prevented if they had played through the rite once.

As Zanah said, no one expects 100% bug free updates. That just isn't going to happen when you have code running on a wide variety of hardware configurations. But having small inconvient bugs is completly different than having bugs that prevent game play.

Think about this statement:
"Do you think Nevrax would tolerate any 'bugs' in your payment delivery to them?"

Nevrax pays another company to deal with credit card processing and payment. What do you think Nexrax would do if their credit card processor had a bug that prevented them from getting payment then took a month to fix it?
