And you have the rather fat dp penalty of a 250 lvl hehe. at 250 other than a title you get a speed, invuln and magic aura upgrades. A sap and hp spell credit, another sap and regen increase... erm 250 dodge (growling gingo still hits 50% of the time :/), 225 resists, oh and a 250 sap crystal spell. This i presume it the same for a AoD. Due to the max lvl of current 'general' mobs a 250 character cannot really lose dp terribly well with the 250 combat skill. so some secondary skill like melee or forage is required.

A 250 harvester, gets no xp msg as any other 250 skill, but does get 2k (avg) x 25 (skill 250/10) = 50k off dp
a 250 melee/elem solo (external healer recommended) on a great jugular gets 1.5k = 37.5k off dp
a duo (needed for support based 250 skill like healing or afflicts) will get 1k or 25k off dp

with a 200 melee i get 60k from a 3k kill.

dp is some 450k per death at 250

Yes. And teammates just get slightly less xp than in team with char lvl 249
