Souls has warned multiple times about infighting/flaming (in this very thread i believe, but with 40 pages hows one to find anything?), specifically in regards to ryzom.org and those with different viewpoints.

Aside from them banning your guys accounts for flaming constantly, whats it going to take for you all to just calm the hell down? For the love of all rational left here......

Well, then there's no proof of you being part of our community, in my eyes.

Since you seem to claim that about supporters of the .org project, I have no other choice than throwing your judgement back onto you.

please little 'max, mind your manners. If only you had been born before arcana left so she could clean that foul mouth of yours.

this is a forum, where people discuss all sorts of things. nobody has to read it if they don't want to. And one of the most important events in the history of ryzom is to come. So of course we are to discuss it. All homins are passionate about it. Maybe some babble too much, some about opensource, me's babble too much about women. Who cares?

If i am going to discuss about implementing jabber on tryker wind machines, I do that in the other forum. But if I am discussing ryzom directly, I voice my opinions here. Babble all you want about going somewhere else, but the truth you fail to see is that the ryzom.org is part of the ryzom community in general. If you are tired of reading this thread you may freely go to another thread, no trykers here keeping you from doing just that.

I found about free ryzom on the news, I emailed a couple of my old ryzom buddies about it, and received a lot of negative input about it. So i came here to read about it, and in my opinion i saw a lot of misconceptions about what it would mean for ryzom to be opensourced. So i posted my views about what it would mean (even before finding ryzom.org little 'max) for ryzom to be GPL'd. What you call lobbying is me exchanging opinions in a ... JENA FORBID! ... forum, in your opinion the wrong place to exchange opinions.

my tryker guts dont buy your logic, little one.

ah well go ahead then you like doing that in fact you haven't come up with anything else but that, but at least you used more then one sentance this time and were a bit more mature about it. Anyhow from what I have seen as to human nature its a valid thing to not reveal your ingame name and done by others. Also I have no idea what his ingame name is so uh I'm not sure how that relates either usernames on this board are different then ingame names so I guess I dont get it is that his ingame name or something?

if you look however I have only done it once where it was completely obvious and I have not said anything like that to any players who have more then 7 posts and that not all 7 were on the identical subject and only that subject

you see people who sign up for the game will not go to this thread first they will in fact be busy with other threads so yeah its pretty easy to see even if they have come from ryzom.org and others have I can tell a gamer when I see one who is just that and a programmer wanting to see what is inside the box ^^

so you admit you are here because of Misconceptions on free opensource" and not because of the game itself hrm interesting you opened an account just to post about that? great

let us know when you have an actual opinion on the game lol

Anyhow nice act though .. keep it up

I will say hello when you actualy have something about the game to say though instead meanwhile I will add you to the pile of 'Opensource' defenders and no that is not what is usualy on this forum, but then you would know that if you were here before this mess started and had bothered to participate

i'm stll not sure what opensource has to do with the virtues of this game but meh whatever

i think you meant maybe the "Off topic' forum .. /shrug

also be kind enough to point out where I am swearing since I have a "foul mouth" i have not sworn once.. so uh not sure what your talking about?

You must have missed my large reply to you in that other thread.

Whose name? Mine? You must be new here.

They might not be interested in the other threads, they might be old players interested in the project, how would you know?

Then tell me, what am I?

let my little ears be struck by lightning if this is not true.
and i do think little homins should learn a little history.
