I would do it, but only thing i know to write there is "Just works, even sound... kind of." ;-)

Oh, didn't notice that hehe.

I'm trying to contact the person who wrote the Rally script. Perhaps it still can be used or updated for the latest Wine?

Also, maybe Katriell wants to update her Howto for the latest Wine?

I think Kaetemi could provide some useful info too regarding the latest Wine and how to run Ryzom on it.

*loves assigning work to others* :D

I'd happily write a Howto myself but for a start I have no experience with Linux, nor do I have a Linux box :p

:) This thread is an awesome resource but has gotten HUGE. It would be great if one of the community's linux gurus wrote a new thread (you can link this one as a historical reference). Even though the average linux user is very smart and computer savvy there are a many new people trying out linux that may not have the patience to sift through the large content of this thread to get to the important changes since this thread was first posted.
