If people are training into the camps, it's for naught. I'm cautioning people against instinctive safety-runs into the camps, and looking into reports of deliberate attempts to depopulate the camps.

Homins Be Warned!

The Kitin have furthered their presence in our lands. They have created the beginnings of a camp in each invaded territory. They seem to be setting up for another assault but they will have a nearby camp now to supply reinforcements! We must put a halt to this! The progress on their camps seems slow, so they will likely be building it through the night. The karavan and Kami representatives have told us that for some time this evening, the penalty of their ressurecting homins will be lifted. They say that they cannot provide this protection through the night, but will hold out as long as they can. In exchange for this, they are asking that every able homin help in equipping the soldiers for your race. Tomorrow we will push forward into the camps, but today our forces are far too slim! As you equip more soldiers, they will defend towers on a path leading towards the location of the expected kitin camp. The time to act, homins, is now! Craft hard homins, and harvest well!

Images from our reconnaissance mission to find the Kitin Stronghold: http://ryzom.vx3lan.com/ryzom/images/ga ... nnaissance

Exactly what we uncovered is still unknown, as we had a party wipe 100 meters from a very peculiar object in the middle of our path of travel. Our forces weren't strong enough to overcome the waves of patrols that consumed us.

Thanks all that came out, it was great fun!

on the tryker side, we also could not make it to the heart of the kitin camp

at one point there was wave upon wave of kincher attack upon us, we moved ahead maybe 50 meters between waves, it was very intense. in the end a 3 wave attack crushed our forces to death. we are reasonably certain we know where the camp is, as the waves of kitin could be seen coming for 500 yards , out from the camp

we also got a whack more soldiers made because of all the back and forth between camps to get people behind and to regroup etc. was definately making a difference out there. all the guard towers are populated and all the camps have probly 50 soldiers in each. the trek from craft-fight camps was literally aggro free on our lass pass, those guards are really working now i guess hehe

when a guard group is made now, it heads off in the direction of the kitin camp, but we died on our last attempt to stick with them and see where they were going

was killer interesting to see it all go down, thanks all who participated :)

Our mounted scouts have found no kitin camps in Matis, and we have covered the whole area several times. What we have found was several additional towers and a few areas where the bark appears to have ruptured. The ruptures do not appear to have openings in them that the kitins can be entering from, but they may have a way to seal them after they come thru and should be watched.

I saw similar anomolies in the bark when they kitins invaded the Nexus, very close to where our forces defeated the boss. Hopefully we can find out more information on these ruptures, we may one day be able to enter the kitin lair thru them and strike at the heart of our enemy.

an unbelievable chain of events......

a group of 60 or so, coming in from a long round trip run from yrkanis to avendale and back, without a moment to spare, joined up with the mounting forces in the war camp outpost, and what a force we were!!! there must have been 110 people there, unreal

we literally stormed our way to the boss kitin (name forgotten) and destroyed it within 7 minutes time. we came, we saw, and boy oh boy did we all conquer, a superb victory for matis lands and all homins!!!!

but,

it didnt end there.........

the group, still on fire, calls out to now save the bounty beaches in trykerlands. i was astounded to see people, who had been trekking now and fighting now for 7 hours, without hesitation, move forward with an immediate plan to go to windermeer and group up for an all out assault.

within 50 minutes there was 60 people in bounty beaches. we moves quickly and stormed our way to the Trench border zone respawn point and portal area. then, it was on to the kitin camp.

although the fight team was smaller , we did manage to kill the boss after a long hard fight lasting approx 25 minutes. a fantastic victory for tryker lands to be sure!!! and this could never have been done without the drive, and the cooperation of so many people. thanks all, it was a joy to be a part of it :)

This just in. Fyros, with the aid of homins of all races, is now liberated from the kitin. As I write, those of the united homin army who can to get to Zora are preparing to put an end to this menance. More will surely follow. Kudos to the united effort!

It's over. It's not going to be so easy for the kitin when we all fight together.
