Too many let downs and too many bugs that in 3 months have not been fixed.
Its been a fun 3 months but due to the lack of content (It doesnt seem patch 2 is going to contain what it needs) I have done almost all I can, Im not a power leveller and the promises dont wear anymore. Also Im fed up with the great responses by the CSRs its a shame the Devs do so little to back up this great service.
Ill check back in 3 months, maybe then there will be a game worth playing and maybe Ill see more than just myself in the q200/250 forage areas in matis over an entire weekend.
helbreat wrote:thats ammusing that your quitting.... i complain about all this stuff everyday on these forums and you call me a troll..... your quitting because of the bugs if you complained about them maybe they would get fixed and you wouldnt have to leave the game..... if i was to sit here and defend the game like you do id get depresed and quit too its why i complain and maybe stuff will get fixed and we wont have to quit
borguk wrote:Im quitting because I committed myself to playing another game with all the friends I made in Planetside, for the moment I have done all I can in Ryzom and cannot warrant waiting for the content . However as I said I will be back in a few months when Im sure the content etc will be there and hopefully alot of other processes ironed out. If they arent then I wont worry because the game wont be here to return too.
But I wont sit here whining on the forums when I can send plenty of tickets in about the bugs, missing content and nevrax that Turenkarn (bless his cotton socks) leaves unaltered (my opinions of the devs sometimes can be colourful without using foul language) and sends up. I know the devs read each one because Turenkarn tells me they do. I try to be constructive but sometimes its best to let the devs know that your not enjoying the game and why.
Its easy to rant on here but thats what boards are for and why majority complaint rules, individual whinges carry little weight here with those nevrax reps who monitor these forums and report any content of note.
So carry on trolling, all you do is annoy your fellow gamers who from what I gather are waiting for you to step into tryker or matis when pvp goes live.
And I ask you, how can you be so sure it's TurenKarn that's at fault? TK has been most helpful when I've needed him, and also very fast. It could be a simple fact that the Devs told TK nothing had changed, because they had already seen the negative responses on this forum.helbreat wrote:i hate to say this but do not be so sure turenkarn has spoken to the devs when he says he has
That's a hypothetical question, as such it's one that none of us can answer. However, again think about what I said above - the Devs are pretty much an unknown entity in all this, and it's entirely possible that all of this information breakdown lies with them...helbreat wrote:so if the devs are in contact with the gm's all the time why dont these things get fixed?
Yes, it generally works fine for me, at any range. I'll admit I've seen the odd problem - team members 'sticking' on the map, and not being in the correct location. However, I have to say 9 times out of 10, team members have been in the correct places - I know this because I've gone back to res team members using the map. I'm not sure what causes the map/team problem - I though originally it may be caused by death, although the fact that I've gone back and healed people (after my own demise) proves it works.helbreat wrote:ive been wanting my map to display the correct positions of team members since i very first started to play ryzom but does it always work? does it ever work?
I think the key word here is complain - I'm not having a go here Diggin, but sometimes these things get fixed quicker when people have a thoughtful, calm discussion. No need for 'will this ever get fixed' comments or thread topics - if you at least sound like you're being reasonable, you're sure to receive quality responses from the community. Starting a new thread that looks to be a whine (on the face of it) isn't the way to go, and is guaranteed to bring negative replies.helbreat wrote:i complain about all this stuff everyday on these forums
