Character running speed

Its the computer. Ive gone through two upgrades and then a new awesome computer (Thanks Gandolf). My char ran faster each time. Also try defrag. The game is fragmented after each patch.

Some time after, some people seemed to move noticably faster by varying degrees. I asked a few knowledgable people what the deal was, and I was told about the new client-side hack.

Here's a piece of info - it's not a new thing. This "hack" has existed since several months before release. Many people mentioned it, it was a cause of huge threads during beta.

And everyone was assured it would be fixed by release.

Why fix it, when we can pretend it doesn't exist!

My tryker runs faster than anyone ive ever met, noticeably faster, id say about 15-20% more speed than the next fastest person

Its actually a nuisance because i would get ahead of travelling groups all the time

ive got p4p800 se, p4 3.2 ghz, 2.0 gigs matching ram, 9800 all in wonder pro, 2 x 10000 rpm drives -striped -running as one ultra fast(about 18000rpm) drive. 100 mb/s extreme speed internet connection, and a 7 fan lian li all aluminum case.

im the shortest fattest ugliest little tryker ya ever saw.


i run faster than everyone. all races, all hights, all sizes


its totally the pc, has nothing to do with anything else (aside from any hacks people may be using)

yep, the hight seems to be the factor here, I have tallest matis i could do, and i run ahead of a lot of others.

I set my matis to tallest it could go. I tend to end up outrunning most or at least in the front end of the pack (even in full armour). In game generally i have to stop and wait for others to catch up (those not of the same height anyways)

The shorter your character (i think) the slower you will run.
