Yes, how many more will we miss out on?
And of course all my American friends have playing for almost a week now and are level 40 or more, while Canadian delivery is now looking like the September 30th. And it's not just me; all the Canadians who played in Beta and pre-ordered are sitting here grumbling. A good percentage of the North American player base is missing out on the important first weeks and will be hard pressed to catch up.
I was really looking forward to playing Ryzom with my friends, leveling up together, trading items, helping one another. I can no longer do that. It has been lost to me forever. The enthusiasm I had for Ryzom is almost completely gone. Another week and it will be too late; I'll probably give up.

Well ... I feel your pain. Even though I am in game now, a lot of my guild has yet to get the box.
The fighters and mages of Comitatus Praetorian will be more than happy to help provide assistance for late arrivals in Zorai!
Community Service ... =)

Thanks Pandorae, but I'm actually quite involved with the guild I helped create and promote, the Out of Cavern guild (
http://www.outofcavern.net). I probably would have been an officer of the guild (may still be yet), but by now most of the positions have been filled.
They all feel pretty bad for me, and will give me lots of dappers and armor and weapons, but I will not have earned any of it myself.
Thanks very much for the kind offer anyway.
[End of sob story.

Happy to hear about server events so soon!
I'd like to throw in a vote for the N.A. West coast players however. It would be nice to see some 9:00 PM PST events as well. It can be hard to make it home from work for those EST events.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to dynamic server events in the future!

I met one guy who was doing something similar in Pyr a couple days ago. His name was Mynias, I don't know if he was a GM, or what, but he was a fairly decent RPer.
I tip my hat to you, sir.

I know this is a really stupid question....and its in the wrong place I know, but i was reading the first few posts and i saw GM. I Asked around and I think it means game master. Then i asked what that was and they said Jena. Then i asked who that was (lol) and they said the devs. so could someone PLEASE clear up who or what is the GM and what is there purpose?

GM = Game Master (customer service and chief in game story tellers)
Jena = Goddess of the sun and creator of Atys who saved all homins from slavery by the Great Dragon (

Sounds like a lot of great fun!
Maybe, just maybe, I can get a lucid, simple explanation on how to craft new action packs. I think I have a basic grasp of it, but some "fine tuning" would never hurt me.

Basic explanation.
Right click on empty box at the top of the screen. Choose new action. Then choose the type of action you want, say Offensive Magic (or whatever it's called!)
Once that is chosen, you can choose an action, say Acid 2 (if you have that). Acid 2 has to be balanced by an equal amount of sap or sap/hp which you do on the other side.
Look at the bottom. If the green scales balance or you have a bit more sap...that's ok. It's pretty simple once you understand the basics.
Contact me in game, as I'd be happy to walk you through it.

Hmmm....
An hour and a half past the event time. And Fairhaven has seen no sign of the great heroes? Are we tryker going to be forgotten?
