Masterthread: Ordering & Pre-Ordering the Game

I have never had a good experience with EBgames online ordering. Only reason I order from them is for pre-order promos. Now they're sending out bad codes... Just can't win with them.

For any game if you're not ordering for a bonus, don't use EB games. They don't have a very reliable system going at all. Every pre-order I had through them was available in-store before I got it.

Well, i can say that EBgames shipped mine on time, it got to its destination the 22th only the pre-order code took until yesterday and after some phonecalls. Actually it was a good service from EBgames.

Unfortunately i'm still not playing cause im far from civilisation, no next day shipping here and even if i have my serial and account ready i have to wait cause nobody will upload the damn thing.

Having a download optoin could have certainly helped me and a lot of other players still waiting for it.

My copy will arrive here on monday and i could still use a download for the weekend, it's really frustrating to have your account ready and not being able to play and no one that has the game will upload it to me

Of course no one will upload if for you for two good reasons:

1. Unauthorized duplication like that is, well, illegal no matter how good the intetions.
2. It wouldn't do you any good as you still need the CD key on your CD sleeve to actually register the game, the pre-order key is ONLY for the armlet.

Well, just how many times do i have to say that I DO have my serial number and account registered and everything but the software.
Shouldn't be illegal cause i bought it, im not planning on redistribute it i just want to play, now that I HAVE a registered account.

And what if your cd's get damaged? you still have a serial # an account and everything but the software. Wouldn't be fair to send a copy in that case?

Or how about a download option to those with a registered account? just in case their cd's get damaged.

I still have like 3 more days to wait.... and i can't say im having a good time waiting with my account ready to play.
