Things went really well. We started gathering together in Min-Cho around noon and were off by about 12:30-1:00pm. The groups split up a bit at the portal between Matis and Fyros to pickup a few stragglers who got killed/crashed/etc, but things worked their way through Theos, Pyr, Dyrom, and back around to undersprings/prime roots north of Dyrom by about 2:30am.

For such a large force wandering around, things were generally well organized and most folks stuck together & followed directions very well.

Zzei,
I think i speak for all guilds that sent a representative to Pyr yesterday when I say Thank You.

We all set aside our differences on that trip and united in a common goal to arrive at Pyr. Those who fell in battle, either Zorai or Matis, Tryker or Fyros, each was healed and raised to continue on. Our escort was brave, strong and confident. Many a time i heard their distinctive yell to follow when some of us had sunk to our knees in despair.
We lost many on the way. We should honor them today.
I only hope those of us that did make it can come to a common plan for this Kitin offensive before it is too late. Before a crossing like that is completely impossible and each race of hominkind is seperated from eachother, isolated... Alone to deal with this threat in thier own way.

Today, The Pilgrimage was a success.
Tomorrow, The Meeting of Races will commence.

Come on man. Not in this thread. Zzei did a great job helping out alot of people get to an event the GM's gave us very little time to plan for. I commend everyone who helped and congratulate everyone who made their goals. I'm sure those who couldn't complete the trip for whatever reason at least gained something from it, if nothing more than the experience, if not a number of tickets before whatever out-of-game barrier kicked in.

Much thx to Zzei for their organisational, leadership and guidance skills throughout the Atys Pilgrimage. Twas an incredible adventure, by far the most fun I've ever had in Ryzom. Much thx to everyone who participated as well, there were some lengthy delays after reaching the home of the Matis and progressing into the final leg of the journey... but all went well and everyone eventually pulled through. There were some incredible battles along the way, battles of massive proportions considering the average level of player in the entourage. For the most part I truly enjoyed the experience, although it was very difficult to maintain some semblance of camraderie after 13+ hours of combat and some of the situations we found ourselves in towards the end of the journey from Yrkanis to Pyr. I didn't feel much use towards the end, the battles for most of the way were fun, and it was good to be part of the guard escort. But towards the end it was more like I was being escorted than actually escorting anyone else lol.

By far the best day in Ryzom so far. If Zzei and/or any others on the trip should require any assistance, or perhaps organise anything like this again I'd be more than happy to lend my support. Thx all, gg. ;)
