Now there is going to be a meeting where those guilds have an opportunity to discuss things, while the smaller guilds can't. It once again leads to a system where big guys have the ability to set rules and standards and the little guy is left out.
Err... BG and I made it to Pyr on our own. Not only the big guilds are there, some of the small guilds and independents have also made it there. Of course, that was back when they allowed people to sneak. Now that exploration has more or less become forbidden, that may not happen again, granted.
Still, there were some very good points made. Be proactive. Get guilds together prior to the event. Make a list of points. Arrange with the event holder to speak as a Zorai ambassador or two, or Tryker or Matis. Communicate back to your online guild in guildspeak and even the heads of the guilds in teamspeak. Make points as needed. Heck, for the Zorai, you can go to that stage in Zora city and hold a town meeting.
If I didn't have to work then, I'd be all for it. I'd even be offering to act as a communicator and ambassador for anyone who wanted it. Fact is, I can't because of my job, but that's the way it goes.
The world, as it has been pointed out, is a dangerous and divided place. Use the resources you have, and within the context of the game, find solutions. It's an excellent opportunity for story building and alliance building and team building.
Yesterday in Pyr I saw a Tryker and a host of Matis. Your ambassadors are there. Zorai are in Pyr by the dozens it seems. Find these people and work with them. If the game doesn't give you the framwork, as it was pointed out in combat and magic threads, adapt.
Tin.
