There was absolutely no point to my story other than to try and entertain people. I was not trying to show how tough PR is. I actually like that it is that tough. I have no idea how it was before the patch, because the other night was my first time there.

Oh, and I knew people would take offense to me calling them "whiners". I used that term to get people's attention so they would read my thread versus the other million out there complaining about the game. From all of the responses I've gotten, my strategy seems to have worked.

I'm going to log in now and play the game that I still enjoy, even if it is a little tougher.

Thanks for the flame...I enjoyed readind it. Mostly because of the wild conspiracy theory in it. That really made me laugh.

If you read my above post, you'll learn why I used the term "Whiners" in the title of this thread.

As to being a mortally offended fanboi/cheerleader (by the way....excellent imagery), to be honest, I could really care less if people like this game or not. I enjoy playing, but if you don't, no problem.

From the poll I was reading on these forums, it looks like more than just 3 of us still enjoy the game. Last I checked about 30% like the new patch, out of about 80 polled. Of course, that poll is anonymous, so much more happy people are willing to respond to that instead of posting a separate thread, and making themselves the targets of flamers. Oh, just checked that poll, the number of happy people is 55 versus 45 unhappy. Seems to me that the vocal minority is striking again.

The original idea this thread presented wasn't trying to stifle the complaints. I think it would be easier for Nevrax to read and respond to complaints if they were all in the same place. Take for example the "Wishlist" posts. Those were a conglomeration of many different requests, and Cerest responded and updated the wishlist regularly.
