How do you compare this game to other MMORPG's like Anarchy Online.

On another note, I still own and rarely play AC2. I play on VHigh settings. I still believe Ryzom looks better.

Asheronscall 2 which was released over 2 years ago looks as good or better than Ryzom... Better on max settings with high detail pack which turns on bumpmapping..

I myself used to play asherons call 2 (it was mostly just that....playing by myself) it was a good game, but the graphics do not even come close to ryzom - get an eye test mate

Are you commenting on just screenshots or have you actually played it....judging as your a mr unregistered you havnt played it....you cant tell how good the graphics are from screenshots alone, this game is amazing when ya see it playing.

I use 1600x1200 highest settings in Ryzom, and belive me if u have a system that can support this mode the graphics in this game will be the best comparing to other games.

I don't think I will buy this game, it sounds like it's still in the development stage.
I get the impression the playfield is small and boring.

After all there is no easy way to demo this game.
The company makes you BUY the game just to try it for 1 month and then decide from there. I'm not going to spend 50+ USD. I may as well just buy another 6 months of AO. After all there is so much left to do in AO having about a dozen professions, 3 breeds, unique skill allocation system and what seems like endless quests in practically 2,3 or 4 different worlds(original anarchy, pvp, shadowlands, alien invasion)

Believe me it's not as bad as some people make out. They are going to make an announcement shortly about a 14day trial, expect it around the 8th of November.
It's worth a try and definitly runs smoother than AO did at launch. I know this because I played Anarchy online at launch through their teething troubles and enjoyed that immensely. If you enjoy AO you will enjoy Ryzom.
