Yes, i hate Ryzom... just imagine a game with no !absolutely necessary! quest rewards that everyone and their mother and their neighbour and the Pope's cat has! CanĀ“t live without that i figure... Same thing for choosing a class out of 20... what? more than 20 diferent templates? no can do! I WONT PLAY SUCH A GAME!!! And i will not stand for a enjoyable and most complete harvest and craft system... no siryyyy, and same i say for fame system! what the hell is that? Trying to create something nice for which to struggle for not only for you but for your group and IMAGINE THIS OUTRAGE: for a group as big as your race... pitifull! Oh and they will try to introduce a knowledge progression system! Who in the hell needs that? If i wanted knowledge i would go to school!!!!

:P

exaclty - who the hell needs content when I can hit the same monster with 20 different names all day! These people who have a problem with the idea that the system is a player-based economy.....oh so there's not enough players on to make me something - can't you people just go and learn the skills yourselves?!?! So what, that you wanted to play a fighter -would it hurt you that much to lvl craft to make q100 items?!!? Besides - Who needs quests when I can sit and make different coloured armour! IMAGINE THIS OUTRAGE: that missions as diversified as 'go there and kill that' or 'make me 10 shoes' aren't enough for some people. If I wanted a complex task based system I'd go out and get a job!!!! And I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO PLAY A GAME where some people moan just because they forgot to put in a few materials for one of the races...

rotflmao - when's the patch out again?

I wholly agree with everything borg9 said and I have the same experience from Ryzom and still not getting bored.

Though I didn't subscribe for more than one month, as anything could happen. Good or bad, but given the indications so far it can only be the first ;) But still.. Anyway, given how long this MMO has been out for sale this surely isn't bad at the moment. I'm just waiting for the extra content to arrive and all's more than good (and.. *cough*fixblind*cough*)

I dont like WoW as they suported only USA players in Beta :P so they can keep it all ..

Everquest was my worst experiece in MMOPRG life becouse of atitudine that players are slaves in this game and i was passing game sitting and waiting on mana or health to recover in place of having fun looool..

Hmmm basicly i think this game have most to offer to me at this moment IF they continue to upgrade and add features as now or even little faster :P

I'm with Silverion - this game is still the best out there imo, but I am going to give EQ2 a try as well which I wasn't planning on doing one month ago.

I'm longer that impressed with Ryzom, some things are damn good ie the environment ect, but my reason for disliking the game, is simple.. There is nothing to do, now u may be thinking, what!! nothing to do!! loads to do!, but to me there isn't, heres my brake down.

NPCing this is the only form of combate there is unless i Challenge another player.. now npcing is ok but it gets so damn boring after a while.. then u start to think y am i doing this? to get new armor? then what? get more?, or level up? then ? level again... there is no real aim after u reach the top then what? start agin with another skill set, then another .....

then same goes for mining, and production.. its just the same thing over and over makeing better stuff, then what happens when u can happly make the best stuff over and over? or when u know where to mine the best stuff then what?

there is no loss in this game.. u die u come back with all ur stuff nothing lost nada. so there is no sence of ****! i cant die now just paid for this!! its just damit! now i have to walk all that way again.

Pvp is the life blood of all games without loss there will be no need for production, without produvtion no need to mine, its all connected, so limitinng pvp fights to "can i fight u and take ur stuff" will kill games imo.

i may be wrong in some areas, maybe i havent looked deep into the game to see that pvp is possible without asking the guy u want to kill if u can kill him.. i dunno but let me know

Loads more but i'm being watched at work, so yeah make ur arguements about my statement, i'll try to fight back.

It's not the game you don't like it's the KIND of game you don't like. You just don't like mmorpgs because that is what mmorpgs is all about. Now what I think you may like are mmorfps type games. :)

I love RPG games and shareing that with other ppl would make the experience better i suppose, i'v played Eve online for the last year and few months and its still going strong, maybe i'm puting them against each other a bit to much which could well be the case.

but thinking about it abit, rpg games r heavly dependent on the story, so maybe i'll wait till that starts before i consider going back full time to eve.

+ i do play online fps and i like the ppl in rpg games better :)
