So I am honest I didn't looked at the eye candy in this patch, I only peeked at the out of game way to access a characters emails and notes, and I like to know why this feature can be accessed simply by the full character api key?
Is it really necessary that a person I trusted with an full api key now can look at my contacts and write emails in my name? If someone harasses another player using this way what will you do? Do you threaten to ban him, while essentially everyone in the world could have used that access? The player whos account is compromised could just claim he gave the key to some 'trusted' third parties, that provided nifty tools that uses the key.
So this feature is another reason NOT to use the api keys. So I still wonder what the goal is the Winchgate devs are heading to. Do they want the api to be used or not? If someone wants to use the api, at the moment he only can do that with a bad feeling if he wants to use/honor third party applications/service.
Please understand that I think that accessing ingame mails from out of the game is a cool feature, but not if the access to it is uncontrollable!

I haven't had a chance to check out the new features yet (dirty rotten RL too busy this week) but if it's true that you need only the api key to access these features, and from the grand old insecure internet at that, I am concerned.
As soon as I can find the time, I'll have a look myself, so until then this is just uninformed ranting, take it for what it's worth.

About the API key and email:
I raised this concern shortly after the email tool was announced and I was able to test. I recently was informed that it will be addressed. So, yes, the devs continue to be responsive

It seems that they have addressed it. There is now a login with your pw instead of the Full API key.

I was glad to see such a quick response to problems with the patch (for me looking back wiped the UI and wow fixed next day!). I can't wait to see what happens in upcoming events. I haven't had a chance to check out new boss spawns, but I'm glad that it will encourage exploration. Keep good things coming

Yes, they only forgot to use a secure server, with 'https'.

I'd bet they are working on it.
And I'm somehow disappointed in the Female Fyros new tatoos. I think most of the old ones look better. There's only one I'd even consider wearing and it's not even the most expensive one.
I do like the fact that there are various price ranges, though.

Okay you guys are not allowed to patch everytime I am out on the ship for months at a time so everyone else keeps getting the head starts
Oh well that life huh stuck out here for 3-6 months at a time I guess its a nice thing to look forward to wasting my time on
