Ooh, like you mean you can add a text saying "Focus" on your jewels so that you don't have to inspect them all?! That would make it more useful but I don't think that's the idea behind it. I think they meant it for people to write messages like "Thanks for the help!" or "Your bestest friend" or even recipes.

A tooltip-hover note would be most useful if it could be added by the user and not the crafter. Maybe we should make a suggestion to that effect :)

But anyway, great patch! Thanks devs!
Well that was suggested so many times i think devs are aware of.

Customizing the name of the object would be good but, imho, the best choice would be to have a small jewelry box that could contains all the 10 pieces and with the ability to name it, such as "My focus boosted set 250" or "Grind HP set lvl 100" (well, you can use also more rp text into it of course, at your choice). This box could be sold by Tool Merchant. They can act similar to a packer with 10 slots and 20 bulk, sellable only if empty. The actual bulk simply adds to the bag bulk so functionality remains the same.

But that's related to the "Containers" requests, so could need some work. Just having the actual text as second line of the tooltip would work. If you ask a crafter, he can just add the info for your convenience, and most crafters would do, instead of adding a totally useless text.

I don't think any crafter would write the recipe in that text, lol

You don't think a new player might write the recipe in that text so they can compare the items as they progress? I figured that would be a great idea for learning how materials interact for the end product. Crafting is pretty mysterious to the new crafter.

Good point!

I'm going to make a QL 200 sword of doom! :P its gonna be crap, because it will be made out of grind mats, but that matters not!

That's a good point, indeed, but this doesn't remove the need we have to distinguish the stuff in some way without having to right click *each* *single* piece.

And, anyway, a 'memorize' button in the crafting window, with the possibility to browse the discovered recipes, would have worked much better, because:

1. in the text you can write anything, even recipes u never tested, while with a 'memorize' button, you just memorize what you have in your actual crafting window (precraft and final item), so the real discovered one. Personally i already write for comparison my recipes in my in-game notebook (ig mail sent to myself).

2. this information would remains in your own knowledge, while the text in the item is shared to everyone can read it.

Just imho, of course.

Anyway, this is a new feature and new featues are always welcomed, just reading the patch notes i was expecting something different :)

Edit: btw, the memorize ability could even be linked to a specific rite or goal... because we always need goals to reach... but i stop thinking now or i would not stop writing...

A memorize button? Don't make me unemployed :p

But I agree, using pen and paper for notes or text files can really get messy. Plus it has to be copied by hand everytime. But I really like fetching a "recipe book" and looking through it. Look through handwritten notes, angry comments and corrections. But honestly, how many different recipes do people use? Most crafters got their 2-3 "final" recipes, with good material cost / stat ratio plus a stockpile of the mats needed. If I had this button, it would still be messy, I got currently 113 amp recipes written down.

Single best news from this patch -- Cut and paste in the hotkeys bar.
Second best news - Crafted goods addenda. Can be used for loaner armor and weapons -- "Please return to guildhall - do not sell."
Third best news -- apparent new content.

Yay all.
