That's all.... 2 minutes tops. Just something to let us know that they know we are here.
But is that not sorta what they did by changing the frontpage? And bringing back the forums? And even putting a dev in klients?

I could be wrong, but didn't that dev in Klients specifically say he wasn't there to give any information?

Changed the icon, who changed the icon? How long ago?

How long has it been since we saw a change, or any sort of indication that anyone is still doing something? Since no one is talking, how do we know the whole thing hasn't just been abandoned?

I have waited, I have been patient. I check here two or three times a day just to make sure I don't miss anything. I am getting more than restless. I am getting frustrated.

Agree NB but after all this time I'd prefer a more straight forward greeting hehe.

Kay, they can afford to be mimosa, they're not professional players but something tells me your question is rhetorical :)

However let's work with given data only. They don't say "hi", they don't give info, let's find another subject, this is a too incomfortable dead end.
After all we're here and we love the game and we shared a world

*sigh* only two or three? i think i spend a good 60% of my free time clicking the refresh button on the forums O.o

I feel you, 100%. i know what ya mean and how ya feel and i actually agree. I'm willing to keep on waiting, hell we've been doing it for this long ANYWAY, and the chances of me going to another game are almost slim-to-none. I'm here till the game comes up, and i'll be here for as long as there is ANY hope if it staying aorund (except for certain circumstances what was mentioned in another post, but thats another story :p )

Starting communication is easy but doing it too early could do more harm than good.
If they didnt decide on a strategy yet, just saying "hello we are x, nice to meet you" wont do any good, it will just create an unnecessary stir.
I would have to agree with Embrel, a stir or two (possibly more) is exactly what is needed. A long time WoW player I work with is interested in Ryzom, but said all he can find are the stories about the bankruptcies and old headlines from years ago. I am not saying I need any specific information, just a response of some kind to our inquiries (as in my first post for this thread). And as for Klients, I have tried numerous times to download and run it, but have had no luck, so that aspect of game communication is closed for me.

And I fail to see how a simple "Hello Atysians, we are working on your beloved planet. Please be patient a little while longer" could do more harm than good.

Oo dolly dont scare me like that, lol, and tbh if it would be abandoned why would VL be still in klients, but yeah, its taking long to get the servers up, i dont know whats actually so hard to putt it up, are they waiting for smeting , we dont know and alot of us have questions, guess time will bring us answers, im still waiting with hope, but if it takes another three months, im going crazy and my hope will go into the ground... soon is actually less then two months mebbe three months, how long are we waiting now? :s
