I didn't mind doing the fighting and magic levels starting from scratch as it was all a bit "new and different" with all the changes. But doing the dig and craft levels again (especially those 6 tree jobs like jools and HA) .... those I think I'd find a bit drudgelike doing all over again.

Agreed, tho i face regrinding the dig/craft with more enthusiasm than i would regrinding 60 fame :-/

whazzat? 60 fame is not bad! at 0, you can do it in 3-4 days of average-to-too much playtime!

iirc, you can get around 10-15 fame in each fame run, without too much hassle (a lot of porting around though) ... for the month or two i was kami, it was uber-easy to get my 60 fame! a couple days only i think... its AFTER 60 what kills

I didn't mind the fame ..... I even quit civis a few times to go out and do rites missions again

It's the digging for no reward as you grind thru those secondary craft trees that drove me nuts. Ya shoulda got boosts for mastering a tree.

-Say 50 focus and / or 2 extra focus credits for each land ya master
-Say 50 focus and / or 2 extra success % for each craft ya master ina tree.

I just couldn't start a 3rd region to dig just "for a title" and it would been nice to have a goal bringing those 5 secondary trees up getting that extra success %'s.

I just about got him right now, I collected gear for nearly 2 years which is more important than my levels.

I'm not much for grinding tbh, I prefer to spend my time in game other ways
