someone will acquire the database and server files for a pserver run by player donations. If someone couldnt acquire database logs then im sure they'd raise the rates for older players starting from scratch.

Flame On!!!!

Well should I say it was inevitable....

You guys never did like the American Public!!!!!!!

So just delete all our accounts and forget you ever had an english speaking Server..

So now that We know this is happening I can now tell all my little secrets about Ryzom, and what their initial story line was supposed to be...

Flame Off!!!

... if you can stand a modern Babel where part speak English, part French and part German, 'cause there is no universal language, and the GM's have to be able to understand all three, of course ... =_=

I know this is not technically the 'end', but it sure feels like watching a loved one die very slowly and painfully. When I joined in 2006, population of game was quite small -- now it is teeny-tiny. If game gets saved by someone/company, the amount of time they will have to spend to get things running nicely (unless they have help from certain interested persons) will be crippling...

As for multi-lingual serves -- well, I wouldn't mind that, but there'd be lots of name clashes. I'd have to learn german too, but that shouldn't be too hard ;)

Oh Boy.... that sure bursed my bubble... hope they get the servers back up an running under a new owner.

I was working on mastering all my jewels. Got two at 250 and have only 19 lvls to get the remainder mastered.

Oh well, we will see what the future holds for Atys.
