I'm a Ryzom newbie so my comment may sound a bit useless ... anyway, I think there are no MMOs out there that can rival the open, sandbox nature of this game (and its artwork). My hopes for 2008 ... mmh, maybe The Chronicles of Spellborn, AoC (that my poor computer is not going to support). WELL Online sounds really interesting but the western gaming web sites seems to ignore it ... and the beta form is written in Cyrillic!

You not back yet Brave?
I will most likey not play anything else for now. There is nothing that compares to Ryzom. Ryzom is my first MMORPG and I tried a few others but no game made me stay for longer than a week or two.
It's not a game-thing, it's a community-thing..I just love you guys hehe
afk to await your b

I hate those people who love to tell you that money is the root of all that kills
they have never been poor, they have never had the joy of a welfare Christmas!!!--EVERCLEAR...
I got free boxes of food when I lived in USA as I wasn't entitled to welfare...we got carrots and peanutbutter and this horrible white stuff called grits.
My huuby was a state employee so he took into his boss to show them what we'd been reduced to.
My kids loved carrots with peanutbutter spread!

Not sure where I will go off to. I've done the whole WoW thing, I have a epiced out priest.

The game is just too easy, anyone can play it while rolling their face on the keyboard.
I think I will take a look at Tabula Rasa although I have not heard good things, but I'm kind of interested in Pirates fo the Burning Sea, fancy something different and boats are fun.

I"m going to give WoW Burning Crusade a try. Downloading the 10-day free trial so I should be in game within a couple of hours
That's a nice epic'ed out character there - I hope to get one of those while rolling my head around my keyboard - in the company of about 39 others
But seriously, congrats on that. I was never able to devote the time for the raids, but maybe I'll give it another whirl. I always found WoW socially challenging, if not socially challenged, so it will be quite a change.
Good luck to everyone. And Happy Gaming!

Just started playing Ryzom a few weeks ago, thought I had finally found an MMO that didn't suck (and it didn't). I've tried nearly everything else on the market, and have played quite a few MMOs in my time. Ryzom is the first one I subscribed to in a very long time.
And now, it's in all likelihood going to die out. I'll just take a screenshot of Ryzom, put it on my desktop, and pretend I'm actually playing the game instead of subbing to a lesser MMO.
