Yah, I knows. Keep lots of backups. Problem is merging the LMs & etc. I set on different systems.

Whoo! computer is up and running!
installing bajillions of nece programs etc.... won't be able to jump on ryzom soon enough :/ but i _AM_ back!
..i have a question though, how was i supposed to run memtest without being able to even load up any kind of OS? (this wasnt the problem but everyone told me to try it O.o)

memtest download is an 'image' that must be masterized into a CD, making it a bootable disk. Memtest come with a linux boot, so you don't need any OS to run it, just need to have 'Boot from CD' set into bios.
It come also as a bootable floppy disk, but you need a specific program to write the image into a floppy.
