I could live with that yes but....
And you took the part of my post that was not particularly referring to the Q&A so to be more precise:
(Not sure this is going to be in the Q&A).

1- Are we going to be taken more seriously (knowing than majority of the community are grown ups) and been communicated more regularly what is going on?
I do not think anyone has never asked for proper deadline, we just want to know WHAT is going on, where do you see the future, do they intend to revive the game or just to polish it and to let it run by itself (as mentioned by a previous post).

2- Is the Q&A going to be a one off or is point number 1 going to be considered: regular communication.

3- Maybe this be just be done through the Web site: we asked many times why was the Kitin Liar still inside the "Now in test" section and all of the development sections are just a mess: articles from GF in same sections are articles from nevrax from nearly a year ago.....
I believe the "repairs" to the Website are finished now as some news are posted into it (again, big miss on communication on this one: few months ago was, "we repair it, had to freeze it, go see on forums for news.....". Since then, total silence...: Is it done now or not?

4- Short-term, medium term, long term.....
Share your hopes or stop giving us any...: as mentioned in rpevious post, lot of things are alrdy working and have proved to be working.
Meaning: should not need months of coding:
-Wheel is there, just add some reward (Cats, OP mats, new stuff, whatever...)
-Invasion are working, just throw a few kitins to show that at least something is happening...
-Old lands are probably in the code, reopen them for digging or Kitin hunting event...
-Ring is UP, maybe a RP or a Lore event...

Lot of ideas have been given by many people, some of them could be done fast in parallel to the revamp of 1h, range and so on...

Lot of people are leaving who would probably stay if there was a little new thing every 3 months or so....
Not asking for revolution, just little nice addition as the crafting patch and the wheel was (wheel reward debatable tho....).
This maybe what GF has in mind but the recurrent problem is still the same: HOW DO WE KNOW for sure that it is what they have in mind as the communication has not improve an inch compared to what it was before take over.....

:) (had to put a smiley, went so serious all the way, that maybe would have been my first post without any) :)

Main thing in my opinion is that we shouldn't have to ask for news. News feed used to be natural and we had some almost every week, and even if they weren't giving tons of info they were keeping up a certain sense of constructive relationship between the Devs/management team and their CUSTOMERS (don't forget we are customers and not just brainless geeks).

I can take not seeing patches for weeks what I can't stand though is not being kept up to date on the ongoings of the actual developments.

Community needs your considerations guys else it's condamned to die out

Anyway, I m still happy in Ryzom I just could do with more infos.

I would love to see a page on the website about upcoming patches, just their progress is fine, of course it would be nice to see more information than that, but I understand GF doesn't always want to disclose what will be in the patch. However this could be solved by just adding "Secret Bonus" to the list of things in the patch. When things in the end don't make the patch you can just tell us and move them to the next one or an even later one.

Your progress on getting it coded can be done with an approximate percentage of how far the devs are with coding.

Once they finished coding you can have the page show us several test stages and put a red light behind it when it still has to be done, organe/yellow when you are on it and a green one once the patch in question passed the test stage.

I think that would help a great deal with communication. I believe many people would be happy just knowing how far you are and when possible with what. :)
