The idea that interested me was a role play city. An area where I could go to role-play MY character and someone else could role play THEIR character.
For me it was not so important to even have a set time, just a place. A place that I know when I am there I should close down the real life IM chats and just be my character. And that there is a good chances that if I choose to interact with someone in that area they will be "in Atys" as well. That is what attracted me to the idea, not gaining new friends and creating alts, but being Pero.
And I agree with this wholeheartedly, but again I'm a little in-experienced with roleplay.
To be honest, before I played Ryzom I never even considered it. BUT, the more I see it, and the times I participate in roleplay you realize that it should be a very big part of the game.
So, I think I will make a small event, say this saturday the 16th, where we Homins will meet, and trek to Thesos. Let's make it a grand amount of Homins. When we get to Thesos, we can settle in. For some players a "schedule of events" might seem a little distracting from the roleplay, but for me and my schedule it's pretty important. I would love to park my character at the city, and just log him in and have fun. That's what I do now, besides the rare occasion that I go out and level.
So..saturday the 16th? I am in central time, USA. If we had it round 12 noon, that would allow us in the USA to not have to get up too early and the other players to be playing around 7 or 8 their time.
