I live in the mid-west in the U.S. and since the server move I have had more packet loss, disconections, and a lag increase since the servers moved! I also get FS lost messages in my conection window at least once a night.

So there are players from different service providers and from many different continents, that have suddenly started experiencing the packet loss since the server change!?

My conection to the the wow and rfo servers work fine..
Is it possible that "the offer you couldn't refuse" meant a great deal financially(which may be the more important thing right now), but these servers cant handle the same amount of traffic as well as the previous servers did or something?

There are also players with less package loss and better performance now then befor the change.

I havent checked package loss yet but the game flows fine and I dont crash/lose connection more often then I did on other MMO's.

I would agree with that statement if at least half of the people that said they've have had no packet loss since the move voted in the first two options of the poll. But, it's not the case, the majority who have voted state they have no problems since the move. In addition, there are people who may have not voted because a 5th option not being avaliable ("My connection has gotten better") and instead posted with "less now". Of course, the poll itself only have a small amount of people overall, so we can't really say it isn't the server. But if we use the poll as any indication, so far it's pointing to the fact that the server move has not affected the majority of peoples' connection.

And I think the poll results speak quite well for themselves on that one ;)

The problem doe's not lie with teh server's but instead woudl be with where teh server's are located now, which is now Germany instead of France. The route people take now probaly has more hop's or a high ping time then before. My connecing to Germany is about the same as it was with France.

Before back when the server's were located in the US my ping time was about 1/2 since my ISP which was Adelphia went from VT to there NY network which was right at the backbone the server's were on in NY.

Ok so we had a reboot yesterday now have Zero PL game runs so much better, a minor one or 2 small PWs. After the servers were up for about a week the PL and PWs were getting to the stage of making the game totaly unplayable.

Lesson for GF: Reboot more often

You get less lag (apparently, I didn't have any to begin with) and happier PR diggers :D
