QFE because thats exactly what I'd do if the "sell to NPC" button were to be removed! I'd flood the market with grind items because that's my main source of income at medium to low level crafting and digging!

I think that the devs need to give us moneysinks like Rent on our appartments, guildhalls, and ops. As well as what Faa said about letting us buy instanced boutiques that have rent and the ability to decorate these shops as well as our apprtments! Also make tp prices propotional to the area level as well! More to come as i think of it!

Rent on apartments!

I can see it now....

Your sepreme heavy vest has been sold to pay for rent.
Your supreme Heavy boots have been sold to pat for rent

and so on, and so fourth.....

Rent is a dangerous money sink for those people who cannot play regularly, and those who have left the game for a while then return .. and Alt characters who dont get played frequently ( anyone who suggests they should play more often is trying to dictate how people should play the game and needs a good kicking )
Rent should only be calculated on time you are logged in with that character, after all, thats the time you have available to generate income.
The other thing with rent on apartments, and guildhalls, if it was to be implemented, is that if you fall behind you should lose access, but be able to pay any arrears and regain all access to the contents.
If there was a risk of losing stuff in apartments, then they arent worthwhile for secure storage, and the ingame storage situation becomes much worse

I didn't like either the rent idea. Moneysink isn't a solution, IMHO, for the economy of this game, even if it could help. For me, the solution, pass through boost the trade for dappers flow.

If you have to pay to use the service of the vendor and you don't sell your grind mats, I Think you will find grind mats will soon disappear off the vendors.

Money sinks are needed to stabalise the Dapper.
Stable fee when you book your mektoub in ?, Various forms of vendor charges for sellers and buyers, Apartment rent...etc.
Of course this will cause money concerns for some.....this is the result of having a currency of value.
The money sinks should always be applied to 'optional' or 'luxury' aspects of the game. Or the Dapper will always remain useless.

*anyone got spare dappers so I can stable my Mektoub for the night ?*

see.....we can also add the 'begging' skill now :D
