This sounds complicated (would have to have timers and things so that people didn't quickly eqiup pick as someone casts etc), but interesting.

Hmm, they could just us the current 'active in FvF' flag. This is the same flag that allows neutral homins to heal FvF tagged homins who havn't responded to an attack on them.

So you would get no honour points if the homin that you hit is afk / digging / doesn't nuke you or attack you and their PvP timer has timed out. (This means when they are normal homin colour on the radar)

then you get the situation where someone tags, gets attacked, knows they will lose so doesnt fight back and gets a heal after, then chases other pvp'r with his 5 friends and hunts him down *sounds familiar*

Good God. It's simple. You are tagged, you open yourself to any PvP no matter where you are, or what you have equipped. If you wear a tag and are killed, well that person should get points for it whether you've attacked back or not. The killing homin just did what his/her deity asked Preventing the homin you just killed from digging mats that benefit his/her faction or crafting for his/her faction, or heck standing around afk (which is simply an ugly sight if you are standing with the afk sign on..you deserve to die just for hanging your head ).

aye, its just really hard for some ppl to understand, some just want to wear that tag for the "look how brave I am" factor and dont actually want to die Oo

It is a faction tag, not a PvP flag. Some with beliefs have bad haircuts or religious ornaments, we have but a tag to show our affiliations. Someone wearing their "cross/star/crescent/tag" that is AFK shouldn't become ganker bait. It's one of the many tweaks that must be done to the system to make it viable.

Sorry, but absolutely no.
It was introduced as a PvP Flag and NOT as a faction Flag to not be bothered by PvPers. I simply don´t get how people came to belive that it´s got nothing to do woth PvP as it makes you active PvP if you activate it. Oo Ist mindboggling...

you could farm honor without doing pvp, which is why they took it out right? It would need to be fixed before being enabled..the easy fix i suggest is make it FvF only.

In ep2 there were timers on killing the same homin iirc it was 5 minutes.It wasn't fun because in a PvP fight of 9 on 9 you could blast away and get few honor points because it was the same ppl fighting. On the other hand it was exploitable. So then you switch to protecting your diggers and get none.In the end both factions diggers just dug in peace getting tons of Honor Points while most fighters got few.It was not a great event.If they reintroduce Honor Points it needs a revamp.-Kil
