Yes true, I read what you said as a continuation of that accusation. If you didn't mean it that way my mistake and sorry.

It seems people are getting really paranoid over that silly post, I wonder why it hasn't been locked? Fear of censorhip?

This all started by my question asking who was a CSR, I never implied anything about anything. Nor am I playing dumb about it. It was simple and innocent question. And people assuming from that that I was calling them cheapskates or something. Maybe a quote about assuming things somewhere, i'll see if i can find it :)

this is confusing, if they were players, and jolt is leaving, they can still be volunteer players and guides... right???

And yeah, you got me, my big mouth and combatative attitude clearly make me a prime choice for customer service."

Votes for Jyudas to take the position. :)

I would love you as a CSR Jy, so long as you're not in charge of PvP events :p

I would assume so, but so far GF hasn't shown themselves to be very knowledgable in how to make a good CSR team. I'm assuming that Jolt picked people out from the crowd as I can't find a post on these forums regarding applying for a job. That would mean that people were hand selected for the skills they could contribute to a team. For example, Judy doesn't like PvP. So the chances of him getting selected to run the gladiator league are pretty slim.

Now take GFs approach. They post a thread on the forum allowing everyone to apply and the two questions they emphasize in the thread are play time and a personal analysis of skills. Now we can assume that GF hasn't owned the game long enough to know who the regular players are, let alone those who would make good CSRs. Phelan also admitted in the IRC thingy that there would be mistakes made in selecting CSRs. So essentially, they're inviting everyone to sign up for a team that is almost designed to mess up.

So you have a group of players who are having a whole aspect of their game world being torn out and GF attempting to replace it with a cheap knock off. Sounds like a crappy deal to me

Ps. Seems theres a witch hunt as to who the CSRs were at the moment, so I'd like to make this crystal clear. I'm am NOT a CSR. I don't understand the whole obsession as to who was one. They're no longer CSR, so why does it matter?

Phelan also say in the IRC that they still have the Nevrax Dev team, people with experience in the game and how it works.

And really, really, I don't think that choose people for CSR could be so difficult. Some mistakes? Sure, Jolt has their mistakes too. And every Support with volunteers along the world.

They will not be so brilliant than the former CSR Team? Well, surely not, at the start. With time, maybe they'll be as good, maybe not, who knows.
