why is putting back patrols nerfing neutrals? i cant believe how much you can moan about a choice
you made. It has nothing to do with being neutral or not.
remove tp's from wastelands
add in patrols
sort out the supreme mat popping for all regions
surely that wouldnt offend anyone? (apart from lexius who gets scared digging the mission mats closest to tp aparently)
i'd like to go one further and say remove the map, but thats probably just me

Because...they...don't...get...the...teleports...and...therefore...are...more...
vulnerable...and...unequally...affected...
There's making a choice and there's being repeatedly kicked around for making that choice, and then there's crude and transparent attempts to force you into picking a side. Which seems to go against the Ryzom ethos of freedom.

Ya know, a person that choose to work as a mercenary assasin in REAL LIFE.
He really has it alot harder then a person that works for, say USA.
This *IS* quite natural and they dont moan alot about it do they now?

'Course not, they get paid fat cheques (by the US) but aren't beholden in the same way that a regular troop is, plus they get paid _more_!
Mercs are often courted by both sides in conflicts. The pope's guards are mercenaries (Swiss guard). Mercs were deployed in New Orleans even. Foreign Legions are effectively mercenaries and then there's big corporations like Sandline.
They don't moan about it because the rewards are greater.

Culturally, the world of Ryzom is more akin to the situation in antiquity in the real world. You can read the section in the second wiki link about that.

Well, I meant assasins, not mercs as in bodyguards.
If a assasin works on behalf of a country, he has protection.
If a assasin works alone, on behalf of NO ONE.
Well, lets just say that his life is ahellofa lot harder

And lets just say we don't play assasains. That's a mugs game in a world where people can be brought back to life.

Its hard enough getting to pr at the moment, if you are neutral. Adding Kitin Patrols will just make the journey too hard. If the tps came back though then everyone would be on the same footing as far as that was concerned.
So yea, All for it if neutral tps in pr are brought back.
The lore doesn't support this, Jena and Ma-Duk are not OBLIGATED to give neutrals ANY tps.
It was a bad thing from a game design perspective to remove the kitin patrols, where in the lore did they explain this?
