Eéééé, presents? never knew there were presents (didnt know there were some last year either). I'll have to check it next year i guess Sounds fun though.

mabey they gave the Kamis all presents for christmas to make up for KA having all the good OPs i logged on to 20 presents in front of me and 50 of each egg in my bag with no bulk on em but its no big deal..who the heck wants a present when i already have so many..more than i can deal with right now

Exactly! I'm just thankful that their still is a Ryzom around to not get presents in. I'm pretty sure that the dev's had a lot more pressing things on their minds this year than whether we got in-game presents or not. Ryzom being bought was present enough for me.

The point of this thread appears to be getting buried in discussion re: its heading.

For weeks the MOTD engendered the expectation that we would receive Christmas presents. While some got many, most got nothing.

Building up anticipation and not delivering predictably creates disappointment and annoys ppl. Nevrax should have anticipated this would result on basis of common sense alone, and the more so given there were complaints that no gifts were given at the poetry event last Christmas.
