If you paid for the CD's from their website, their intention is more for users that cant download the game (which they pretty much have to anyhow since the patch for this version is so big ;P).
If your an OLDER player that bought the actual game before it went "free" a long time ago, then grow up. Its no different than if you bought a PS2 for $300 5 years ago. You don't write up sony today and say "Gimme my $175 a$$hole, your selling it for $125 now!!".

Wow.
Thank you Nevrax so much for creating such a unique and memoriable game. It has been and still is just about the only MMORPG I play/have played for the past 2 years. I wish all the dev's and staff good luck whether they are absorbed by the new company or venture off to their own future. Been a great ride, and I look forward to what the future holds.
Welcome Gameforge.

hehe okay the game yeah it was originally paid for (Long ago i uh was looking into playing this game) , but yeah this kind of stuff happens all the time so the reaction is kinda odd. Older games quite often go for free dowload after awhile

Nevrax was inspired, and many thousands of people were able to appreciate that. What better praise can there be?

I see DollyDagger's's point entirely. As someone that has been here for very few Jena year's (Beefy, even worse you do third person), I will suggest to you that fanboydom will not make you here.
MANY of us OLDER player's BETA tested a game that had more/less than we have now. We PAID (Pre-Delivery costs included) for our box and were excited for the release (no matter which server we played on). If we are not tickled that thing's that are overdue are here, handle it. We have all seen many like you that talk alot in forums but are MINISCULE IG (some like you have popular websites as well, still non-factor's on their server). Some vanish off the radar before their forums fame matches IG exploits. When DD wonders where "the beef" is for non-flybynighter's... listen.
Those we call friends AND enemies IG have paid their dues by being here through thick and thin. We have gained friends/allies and lose some. When a noob questions the core of SoR (friend or enemy IG) you're gonna be challenged. You don't even know how much you don't know about SoR.
(DD is Melinoe and normally quiet as ALL Aristople non-noob's know... Been there, done that and played our game... I just get PO'd when the clueless post. I have more respect for enemies than folks that haven't lived what we lived here)

and?
Complainging that something cost you more then it did other people a year later isn't going to get you much sympathy. It happens, it happens with your computer, it happens with offline games, it happens with MMOs.

And nuttin... When your join date is 2 years after someone else... No matter their leanings, assume that you dont have the same game aspect as them.
Cost isn't a factor (been longer than a year noob) so much as the "saga" or lack of it...
(Add yourself to the list !)

I have no problem with Dollys feeling about the game itself but here I'll play the worlds smallest violin just for you and her complaing about the price of the orginal box for the game.
