I would vote for Austin, Texas. Lots of game stuff here, music, etc. And good in the spring, fall, and winter. Hot for the other 6 months of the year :)

One thought might be to determine the time of year. Then take a look at a few international flights and see where the cheapest are available and make that the destination.

Austin would be a good choice even in a place as big as Texas, central location as well as everything including the weather. Dallas or San Antonio would also have similar weather but Austin would be my first choice hands down.

January might be tough for those of us who work and will have just taken time for Christmas (and those still paying off Santa's visit). Also had a Euro mention that it doesn't give them much time to shop for a really great deal on airfare.

I'd still suggest someone looking into where direct flights from Europe come in (with the cost considered too) and make that the meeting destination. Every connection having to be made adds time as well as money for anyone trying to fly across the ocean for this.

There does not seem to be a direct flight from England to Austin, Texas.

The following cities are served by direct, and therefore cheaper, flights from England.

Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte Douglas, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas,Denver,Detroit,Grand Canyon, Houston,Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Montrose, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle,Tampa and Washington D.C.

Austin is a 45 minute flight from Dallas.

I would suggest Honolulu,Hawaii, But I know its unrealistic. LOL.

Dallas or Austin would be perfect, Chicago in the summer would be a good alternative.

This Hawaiian would be covered head to toe if gets below 50. Season would be a big factor for me. But will brave the cold if I have to.
