We'll make cho real good. Just don't come to the desert karas
If cho ends up kami, might not be so bad. The ring could turn into FvF scenarios or somink.
But one thing is for sure though, dcp doesnt give a shiz what anyone else thinks , we just enjoying the game. and will enjoy like no kami on ari ever did.

This is exactly what I was trying to avoid with my initial post...final60 wrote:We'll make cho real good. Just don't come to the desert karas

In the beginning Arispottle was about respect and friendship and not about PvP, FvF or racial hatred... At least Arispottle has it's history...
Looks to me (sadly) that Cho is starting without it, as though no history is needed.
Go get your Ops guys. Kill all the kara scum and have fun like no other kami ever had...

Spolloh, Final is not speaking for all of us.
Me and Jayla have already said we're on board with your ideals. Get on Cho tonight, and we'll have a chat then.
Looking forward to a new beginning.

just dont screw Cho up with your (and your guild) "i dont give a .. what others think" attitude. This is MMO and you should respect others.final60 wrote:If cho ends up kami, might not be so bad.
All kami refugees in Cho, remember the feeling you had in Arispotle. dont do that to others in Cho now when you can be ruling power.

Ahh, we're not all bad! Honest!blaah wrote:just dont screw Cho up with your (and your guild) "i dont give a .. what others think" attitude.
Some of us actually do give (a little) damn.

Re: A vision of Cho (Golden age)
sure, at the end of the day we'll trade fairly, help out other guilds etc but I know for a fact that DCP wont be doing any of the "butt kissing" that some guilds on ari do
we're already hard on the case with crafting etc, trying to kick start the economy so sure, if theres trading to be done we're in, also if other guilds are going for an OP or need trekking I'm sure we (or some at least) of DCP would tag along to help out
so yer, thats all i have to say about that...

Re: A vision of Cho (Golden age)
For "trading up", why would you give your OP to someone who has a lower q than you do? If your answer is "Because you get another, higher, one; what happens when someone gets to the top of the ladder? Besides which, if there was no "one OP per guild" ideal, why would you give an OP to someone who may well start gunning for your higher OP pretty soon anyway?grimjim wrote:Trading up and newer guilds wanting to get one.
As for newer guilds, as soon as they attack someone, they lose a potential ally (tho I can't see how alliances would work at all in this theoretical situation) and make an "enemy". Assuming they fail their attack, they stay without crystals - likely enough there's no reason for anyone else to give them crystals to lvl up with (they might come after you next) and the people they attacked sure wouldn't give them any crystals.
As soon as someone starts giving crystals to you, its kind of expected that you won't attack them. This is where alliances come in, and once you have alliances, you lose a dynamic GvG OP system.
Re: A vision of Cho (Golden age)
the balance will never be spot on, if it goes GvG people will moan, if it goes FvF people will moan, hell even if it goes DCPvEveryone else people will still moan! lol
basically its a no win situation, whatever siding does happen there will always be one side coming out on top.
all we can do is sit back and let it unfold...
...but yeah back to trade agreements etc, even with GvG /FvF we could still have some form of agreements going so that everyone has an oppurtunity to have decent gear and a fair chance at playing, agree?

Re: A vision of Cho (Golden age)
If you have a GvG op fight system the only problem is that it encourages thу growth of guilds and large guilds will start dominating the stage (like it happened on Aniro...
It is possible to limit the influence of large guilds by allowing 1 op per guild (for example)
The alliances will still be possible however. The only thing that needs to be set in stone is the rules of attack (involving allies appearing to come attack/defend)
One of the possible solutions may be that a guild in attack and a guild in defence are allowed to have the same number of helping hands.
It is possible to enforce it when you have neutral guilds like Samsara that do not present their services for money but instead strive to preserve balance. So they come to every op fight and fight on that side, where you have less helpers present...
Well this is just an idea... Ideas are there to be discussed..

We do fight for money.spoloh wrote:It is possible to enforce it when you have neutral guilds like Samsara that do not present their services for money but instead strive to preserve balance. So they come to every op fight and fight on that side, where you have less helpers present...
Most of the time it happens that that is also for balance.
Individual guild members can choose to fight, or not.
