Ryzom

I voted YES! I have been waiting for a chance to play Ryzom on a new shard and Nevrax has finally released one. As an explanation, I have been playing the beta, bought the release version but somehow never found the time to play back then. So, having this new server finally gives me the chance to experience Ryzom on the same level with other players...

It's been a great experience in the last few hours. Looking forward to more!

Heck yes! As most of you there already know.

I stated this in another post, but will add just a bit here. There are some of us who desire to be the pioneers and some who aren't. It's ok. The world needs both - Those who are staying home to take care of things and those who are heading off to find the new. I am a pioneer. The thought of a brand new shard with all the pains and troubles we had as Ryzom went live had me so excited I didn't sleep. Crazy.. yeah.. probably, but seems I'm not the only one. We had several ppl come over with me because they too wanted to be in a place where their newb levels made a difference, where what I do matters.

There will be plenty of new ppl on Aris and plenty on Cho. It's just a matter of what you want.

I don't consider myself to be jumping ship, but I do intend to spend time on Cho. as well.

Im planning on playing on both a bit, Mainly cho as i will be leveling most of the time. Although i will be on Aris now and then to wave to a few old friends

I will be playing on Arispole at about the same frequence that I was playing before Cho opened, which was about an hour a month.

...and on Cho as much as is humanly possible without losing my job and girlfriend!!!!

Its feels very odd to feel addicted to THIS game again, We played till 1:00am and still wanted to play more (I have to get up for work at 6:30am!)

There was never really anything seriously wrong with the sub lvl 150 game. Its all goes abit pear-shaped after that, because you no longer have to work at anything.

Predictions for Cho:

First lvl 250 in 1.5 to 2 weeks.
First lvl 50 outposts in a guilds hands before Friday.
First lvl 150 outpost by Friday next week.
Bosses will start vanishing before the end of this week.
First contested outpost by Sunday this week.

But yep, first level 50 op by this Friday sounds about right.
