RP-ing doesn't bother me, I think it adds a bit of colour to the game, it also helps us identify who the crazy people are so we can keep an eye on them :P

I just think of you as NPC's, thats not meant to be condecending by the way :)

I blame my cultural upbringing... any form of extremism is automatically bad :P

The game is probably closer now to what you envisaged than in the beginning.. I am one of the people who the initial publicity of the game led to beleive was about rebuilding a world.. didnt see any PvP on the original movies ;)

I guess your roleplay stance is true to the Zoraï that locked the Trykers out with the Kitin during the Great Swarming, and is probably better than the Zoraï that are just playing blue-skinned Fyrosians, but myself personally I prefer to despise people for their actions, not their allegiance.. I wonder if the forums would be different if people could refer to specific individuals who upset them, instead of blanket-blaming factions or guilds

Well it bothers some people but not others. I dont mind Kami giving idol threats, i just wouldnt mind them actually putting it into practise and giving the KA a good fight, we are supposedly at war arent we, one side must win sometime :D

I've thought about how to RP an "evil" character quite a lot, but not actually tried to put it into practice (yet). The objective is to create a character that other players can hate, without actually behaving in a way that harms their game experience.
The only way I can see to do it is to treat your character as a fall-guy; don't play to beat the "good" characters, play to give them a challenge, but always let them win in the end. If you are ever successful in creating an unbeatable "evil" alliance, you kill the game for any players not in that alliance.

Don't you think this could lead to people feeling contempt instead of hate? an "evil loser" may not impress many people, and people may not hate a char they do not fear. (well.. I guess it depends on the challenge you give them..)

Think about it in terms of fiction, or TTRPGs. The bad guy is there, really, to be overcome. Not to win. Darth Vader is redeemed and dies, The Lizard King is revealed to be a mind-controlling spider thing and squished, The Hooded Claw never quite manages to get Penelope Pitstop, and so on.

Go at it all out Raynes, you and the ones like you who have left and not returned are missed. Folks like the members of CP, and others.

I say the mechanics are in place for you to do this and allow for retaliation, etc for your action. If you are tagged, and are killing the greenseeed, any messenger can call in the troops to put your little antics to an end.

I think some of it could lead right into the Spires gameplay when it comes about too.

The last thing I will say is that you did it well before, just be sure to pause and reflect before doing your actions to see if you think it is fair to others, can they get away, have they choosen to participate. Beyond that, Do what you want and don't come to the forums to hear about it, good or bad. If poeple want to do something about the way you act (RP) make them RP to convert you, etc. The forums are just made for bashing peoples opinions.
