hehe, well anyone from the UK shouldn't have too much trouble aslong as they have a Machine readable passport and Visa Waiver form(which I think you can just pick up at the airport). Thats good for up to 90 days stay. :)

3months to save up money would rock though... ;)

Aye, the saving part will be essential for me if it's more than a couple hundred miles. I'll be driving there (most likely) and will need to get some cash together after I replace my poor, deceased eMachine. Lasted 6 years before it laid down it's life.

It probably would have lasted longer... but I waited to long to vacuum the cat fur out of it. :D

Anyway... at least 3-4 months would be great. In addition to saving travel expenses, the holidays are right around the corner.

Yeah, I just thought that if this is does happen as much lead time as possible would be good for all to set up funds, get visas and passports updated, and Get the time off work! :D I for one can't just drop 300 to 700 dollars with out some lead time to get the cash, and if this does come off around the holidays it would be great because of the usual down time at that time of year! :) And shame on you Andarr for commiting PC murder lol that poor thing suffocated to death ;)

Perhaps we should put together a planning committee to seriously discuss the possibilities, details, etc etc?

I have hosting space available for a website, forums, etc. I'd be more than happy to set something up... at no cost of course. ;)

It would certainly have to be a bit in the future, I don't have instant cash either :)

And Andarr, whatever you think is best, we definitely need some ideas and collaboration! Keep it coming everyone!

I'll put together something for the "behind the scenes" aspect of the project this afternoon when I get home from work. If we get enough interest, I'll consider getting another domain name for it and build a proper website. :D

We should keep the general discussion regarding IRL NA on these forums though to keep interest up, and find minions... er... interested parties. ;)

Have it in Jaunary 2007, I'm going to see my in-laws in Arizona then. (Ofcourse the world runs round me what are you talking about!!) I can get to anywhere on the west coast from there. Other than that, I'd consider flying to USA on a jolly. It'd be fun!

Why move the preplaning to another site?

Keep it here where the community is so they/we can have a say also.

Once the idea is solid...then make a info site.
