So are you disallowing melee from sidestepping around their opponent and attacking from behind or mages from running in and out of 50m range trying to hit with enchants before their opponent can cast?

well sidestepping doesnt help you much if your oponent is awake...

And considering the people will be like 5M away from each other when it starts Its unlikely that they will be able to run 45M away without taking serious nukage. Plus there will be a zone where if u leave you lose. otheriwse it may interfear with other people who are fighting at the time.

Lol, you cant start the fight with 5m distance, or there will be false starts

Probably not much of a problem with melee as you cant hit without closing the distance, but using range/elemental youd have to start the fight from outside of range.

during the melee fight (1h and 2h), will it be possible to switch of weapon ?
If i start with sword, can i change for pike ?
