I see your point about having to click each piece, I don't see any issue with that. I would definitely prefer to see the time it takes to "equip" the items to remain realistic, but grouping the items for bulk equipping wouldn't be a bad thing.
Of course... it is more realistic for me with the scattered clothes...

currently it's possible to make re-dressing contests. (from naked to full LA+amps+first cast).
so, clickfest has it's place.

See? Removing the excess clicks from dressing one's self will deprive Atys of an entire sporting event!

That's a price I'm willing to pay.

same here.
Its not a realism issue as one could set aside a set of clothing or jewels in a seperate, but temporary container (when you go to pick up dry cleaning its in its own container, but that container is temp. granted we don't have plastic on Atys, but we should be able to have 'mini' bags of some kind)
sacrifice "re-dress battles" (which I've never seen done or even heard about until now, so pretty sure they're not a crucial sporting event of Atys....) for time, convenience, and organization? I'd do it in a second. The amount of time its taken to find a jewelry set thats got lost in the GH or an apt with other jewel pieces, the accumulated time from switching jewels and having to click the 20 clicks, and attempting to figure out which set of LA is the suit I'm currently wearing down, would have much rather spent doing something productive and fun (and probably totals up into hours of game time)

Well if not able to equip all at once... Why not still be able to group it so you don't have to right click every piece if you have two sets. Then you could just click a group then equip it a piece at a time... Still realistic but less annoying.

Nevrax have a click addiction they are trying to share with the world.
You can't have forgotten the RSI everyone got exchanging tokens for bigger tokens for even bigger tokens for truly huge tokens for a dagger, and i seem to remember it took about 3 hours of game time doing nothing but clicking to get 1 weapon. (edit: found the event

I don't believe I encountered the event you are referring to, but as always, I defer to you wisdom in your analysis.
An alternative theory would posit the possibility that the Nevrax devs have stock in the various companies that make mice and are hoping we'll wear them out faster than we do our jewelry.

Lol that was possibly THE stupidest thing ive seen nevrax do to date, and thats saying alot

The event itself was awesome, the token grinding for the rewards was a****y retentive.
