I'll admit I belong to the category who just ignore people with bad names.

You could always alter it to something that remains recognisable.
Runn
Rundell
Etc.

He could just RP it like I do and use a piece of Lore...
rundll32 may have been a display found on some kind of machined part fallen from a Karavan ship, it read on the display "error, cannot find rundll32, rebooting" and he wanted to be so like the Karavan he took the nickname over his given name among his friends. Now rundll32 can be found and the Karavan will surely succeed
Vicio "DoubleTap" Girin, after the death of my twin (Vicci) to the blinding fury of Skoff, I adopted the nickname given to me by my brother. He always thought me a bit crazy, dual wielding blades no matter the adversary...
He may be right about my sanity, but I honor his name by wearing the one he gave me.

DT's making up excuses for his name
- Jez, that was NICE
-Rundll, yes your name is _annoying_ but i think it fits in well with your character
i wouldnt expect ya to change it for anything
*signs petition to have the name-policy be enforced*

This link doesn't have much to do with Ryzom names, but it is a name generator that I've used for alts.
Fantasy Name Generator.
Hope that is a help...

I think our names could have been way better actually if we could have names that accepted space. That way we could have added to our original name by a name that we felt were in keeping with the world of Atys, it's history and it's npc's. I have wanted to do that times and times again as I "played" and lived my life on Atys.
After all, who wants to change a name that your friends knows?

The one thing I miss more than spaces is the ability to use apostrophes. With spaces and apostrophe's though, I'd be very difficult to send tells to. *grins*
I mean, how easy is it to type Jeziellia Mara'tyr? Heck, "Jeziellia" probably exercises a few fingers already. *grin*
