Hurt my knee last autumn, which made me immobile for a few months. While i like outdoor leisure like skiing, cycling or hiking, i had to find something to fill my spare time... so i looked around the web for MMO games that were free to download and had a trial period, because i didn't want to fork out money for a game i didn't know. Used Google for 'free MMORPG', found a reference to Ryzom, created a character, started playing :) My second toon was Zorai Gloife, i went to main land at lvl 20, where a tall Zorai lady with a funny hat called Alegra recruited me for the AP. I met people with strange names, the best guild leader on Atys Chronosfera ... too many to name them all :) all being very friendly to me :) Soon i found myself being dragged along to boss hunts, drafted to cp in Flaming Forest and Almati Woods... AP became my second family, and the rest, as they say, is history - have been on almost every day since then i can get my hands to a computer :)

hmmm, how i found our little jewel ;)

i think was a webadd on a Keenspot cartoon, most propably on GPF.
it was a wonderfully animated (not so) little .gif, featuring one of GPF´s
Mainchars, i think it was Fooker, getting his A** kicked by a Yubo ;) .

it looked so funny, i couldn´t resist klicking that link and well that was last year in April ;) .

and if i can get a bit of Time in between my Work and retooling my nearly dead PC, i´m playing =D.

For me its so long ago, i dont have a clue how i found Saga of Ryzom. I do vaguely remember that the first thing i saw were two screens even before alpha testing, in a magazine or E-zine. The environment looked so great on the screens, i signed myself up as alpha tester. In every other mmo i've tried, i miss the atmosphere SoR has. Thanks to Ema i reactivated my account again last week (been busy with work n such), that movie made me realize how amazing Atys is.
