applies to everyone equally. I also wasn't trying to say everyone has to be a little goody two shoes (sorry for wierd english expression) and play super nice, but that it's up to 'us' to make Atys a place we want to visit, not Nevrax.

the whole afk tagged players is not really what i was talking about originally, i am PvP tagged all the time apart from server wide events and op battles (due to team dropping bug) if i went afk in a non-safe area then i would expect the worst

yeah exactly! if i went afk with tags on and came back to find myself spawned i wouldnt be surprised - or indeed particuarly bothered. i think its pretty ridiculous to think/argue otherwise but everyones entitled to their own opinion.

seriously folks.. grow up please? RP within limits, using RP as your excuse for "haha im gonna kill you" every time doesnt make you look like an RPer, or like ur even caring about the game

- sure, if someone has the PvP tag on , they should expect death, doesnt mean you HAVE to deal it to them..

personally to me this just reminds me why i dont do PvP - many of the ppl that PvP are the lowest rung of our community and i can barely stand reading posts of "i dont care i'm right - i'm gonna kill you"

you can't use the excuse of Kami vs Karavan for THAT. in all RP sense - a kami vs karavan would mean respect between the followers of Ma-Duk and Jena, not all out hatred and then laughing at the dead one. the few that i killed during my PvP, i always sit near the dying homin and praise them for a fight well fought. That is true RP (tho i have sat ON certain homins.. but they deservd it)

personally sick of it all. traveling to loria for an OP battle just to be with my guild, we accidently jumped 'behind enemy lines' - so i happily wipped out my sword and started hacking away, all to no avail of course and after i died i just laughed and said 'good show " - it was an interesting battle between me and.. (audrey?) .. two minutes after bieng down i was called so many things it sickend me - i immediatly lost all my RP feelings for bieng at OP and couldnt even be near loria anymore. it was only thanks to people like Jamela that i didnt log off right then and there.

-I'm a neutral, i hate no one. i help any and everyone i meet if i can. when i see people making fun of others, i'm reminded of past MMORPGS i've playd and this spurs me to go do solo things like dig and craft, often ignoring all chats so i dont have to hear it anymore.

*wishes our community would stop falling into the oblivious bliss of a PvPer and continue to mature like it was a while back*

-i'm not anti-PvP, i'm anti-"i'm right and your wrong" personalitys that can't even respect their enemies.

I'm afraid I still agree with Kye and other people though, if you are tagged, you shouldn't whinge about being killed, whether AFK or not. If one person does it to you repeatedly (killing you when you are either unprepared, just spawned, or AFK) and you deem it to be harrassment, that's what the GMs are for, and I trust them to make the right decision. But don't just whinge on the forums, that's pointles, it's just going to start the whole argument all over again.

As to what happened with Audrey, I actually praised her in a PM right after the spawn killing incident at the Whirling Stronghold battle the other night. She deliberately spawned at the 'Kami' portal to prove that she would get spawn killed by the defending team. She was right. I think I may even have been the first to nuke her. I did it once, she respawned at the portal again and told me that was unfair. I listened, and didn't nuker her again. Lots of others did though. She was repeatedly spawn killed despite many Homins on the defense team asking others to stop, and she then was given free run to leave. The next time we got wiped, she and the attacking team came up to the portal to spawn kill us. Seems like fair game to me, and in my opinion, was a good point well made by Audrey. People can moan about it as much as they like but I bet a lot of people would still do it if given the opportunity. It got resolved by GMs in the end, which was fine, if not the resolution I personally would've preferred; the attackers realising it wasn't actually that much fun and stopping, allowing the battle to commence. To be fair, the battle was largely in the favour of the attackers due to numbers, and it wasn't the best OP battle I've attended due to that reason. I, like Nightblade, very nearly logged for the rest of the night due to the whining and s***-talking that happened straight after the battle. It's just fun! I admire people like Rashan, because he always just enjoys himself. If someone is ruining it for him he deals with it and continues to enjoy himself. Shouldn't we all be doing that? What happened to the community? I've had so many good PvP encounters which are friendly, good fun and exhilarating. Why so much animosity lately?
