Noble Homins of all races,

I have to thank you all for your stalwart defense of Pyr and the Fyros lands and your great courage in defeating the six Kitin bosses that were sent against you. Unfortunately the courageous Marshall Phanasa perished in the maelstrom; a glorious attempt to kill a boss single-handed resulted in a wound so great that nothing could be done to save her. Atys has lost a stout defender this day, and all hearts must weigh a little heavier.

After the fighting, the leaders gave speeches – I reproduce them here for your perusal:

Baijimao's speech

Thanks to you, Homins, a grave threat has been averted, but not I believe eliminated. The Kitins are set back, but I am sure they will strike again and soon. Please be vigilant at all times and report any increased Kitin activity.
The brave sacrifice of Marshal Phantasa that has clouded this day of victory has not however been in vain, and I know she would be proud of each and every one of you. We did try all we could to save her life, but occasionally even the seed of life can wither. This can be due to two main causes, either because the higher powers have intervened many many times and the seed has become weakened, or in the case of valiant Phanasa, because a blow to the head has caused excessive trauma to the seed and prevented it from fulfilling its function.

I know that if she had to die, this is the way she would have wanted it - leading her beloved Homins into battle against the foul Kitin hordes. I would like to announce there will be a commemorative gathering in the near future where we would like you all to share your stores and poems about Marshal Phanasa, so our thoughts will accompany her on this final journey.
I understand that Ranger leader Orphie Dradius would like a few words,"

Orphie's speech

"Greetings again homins and congratulations in winning such a battle against the Old Enemy. Scouts are already checking up on the defeated Kitins movements and we are convinced that you have earned at least a lull in their progress towards taking all Atys under their foul sway. Be assured we shall continue to watch and warn! I would like to take this opportunity to thank the marshals and to mourn for the death of the stalwart Phanasa, whom we will all miss with great sorrow.

On a more positive note, this day we declare that we have created a formal alliance with the Guild of Elias signed by myself and the Lady Elyssa of that guild. In the future, the Rangers and the Guild of Elias will be working together against the Kitin threat and for the good of all Hominkind. - Lady Elyssa a few words?"

Elyssa's speech

Dear Homins, this is both a great day and a sad one for us all. We are devastated by the death of one so brave and so young, but we know that Phanasa died as she lived, covered in honour and glory. It is to her memory as a champion of Hominity that we dedicate this hopeful new alliance and look forward to brighter days to come for us all. Long live the Rangers and the Homins of Atys!!!"
Heed my words!
