you're speaking in future tense, yet I know of mutliple guilds that already see it this way. After the showing of the 'neutrals' in FvF, many have simply labeled them as Kami. I've yet to see any of them remain kara for very long when it came to FvF in the old lands.

Your religions mean nothing to me. Ma-Duk or Jena? I don't care. These people are my friends, and friends of my friends. I don't care about their religion either.

I will stand with them.

That is all. It is simple really.

If members of the Karavan wish to become our friends, then they are welcome to talk with us. I already have some Karavan friends, more are always welcome.

Don't try to muddy this, to turn it into a matter of faith to rally your fanatics or sooth your consience.

Ah good to see we're under such close scrutiny again, I must talk to Zespiole about signing the Samsara reality show for Atys Channel One. I'm beginning to think a few Karavan worshipppers don't like us, which is sad as I overdid my neutrality missions a bit and am currently Karavan myself as far as spawn points go. I'm even wearing some nice Karavaneer Master Dress Pants while I dig with my Kamists Master Pick.

If you attack our allies then expect us to help them, as they will help us. Same as if we had an outpost in the Matis lands and were allied with OmegaV and the rest of the secret karavan alliance. Hell if you weren't so secretive then maybe we would have moved and joined. Subject to owning a q250 outpost of course ;)

The other side of the coin is what if our allies go maruading over foreign lands, what will we do then? Well we don't give two hoots about the furballs (the Kami I mean, not our hairy allies) so rest assured there would be plenty of dapper in it if you should see us there. However, we've made a point of joining an alliance that isn't full of religious zealots so that's pretty unlikely. Also, don't forget that keyword: defence, not offense ;) In fact, every outpost battle we've (The Samsara) taken part in we fought to defend (well apart from when we helped Evolution secure their outposts against the resident bandits).

So I hope you understand our decision, if you don't then try not to think about it too hard and don't let that prevent you from hiring us ;)

See you at the sword and shield contest, or in Thesos bar - all religions welcome...

Uh Oh, OmegaV is in a secret alliance ? I thought they were Karavaneers... hmm... I guess if I knew it wouldn't be a secret...

Wow! that's quite a position!
I hope they at least get a discount being allied with you guys and all :)

So basicly: You can be allied with us but you never know when you gotta pay us . Mercenaries are always mercenaries and no faction alliance changes that: Dapper uber alles.

Glad it's not like that in the Karavaneer alliance or I'd think twice before joining it :)

There should be one more category now: Karavan, Kami, Neutral and unprincipled mercenary LOL

vguerin wrote:Your facts are as weak as your RP stance. The Karavan stance concerning the Prime Roots is : The homins are forbidden to descend underground in quest of the dragon's lair for fear of stirring its wrath.

Nothing more, nothing less... we are venturing underground for proper gear.

Your facts aint much better 'mate'. I don't have an RP stance - it's a non-PvP stance.

You do know that flaming isn't allowed on here don't you? :p
vguerin wrote:Might be time for those you oppose to see how neutral things are...
They're neutral they don't oppose anyone - nor does the alliance. Which bit of defensive and peaceful don't you understand?

calel wrote:Hence it would be ridiculous for Karavan Guilds to activly recruit new players that are indeed by default neutral if one asumes faction neutrals are all to be considered Trytonists.
Actually it wouldn't because by recruiting them, you guide them toward Jena and prevent the teachings of Tryton from spreading - so you are obeying the Karavan. :)

Well said. This isn't about religion - it's about peace. It's a shame this thread has degenerated into Karavan trouble stirring. :(

Instead you could try joining the alliance - seek peace not conflict. :)

Actually, you could argue the Samsara are the only true neutrals since they will fight for anyone (technicaly they only fight for ONE side - dappers ;) ). Shame that it's only an RP stance that makes them truly Neutral while game mechanics simply makes neutrals targets.

I think this is the only point I have contested here. This statement is not true if they are in a defensive pact with Kami supporters. They are not fighting for dappers here, they are not being mercenaries... They are supporting Kami.

If they are trading with Kami supporters, and giving them the means to become stronger, that is supporting the Kami as well.

If the Samsara have a particular policy or alliance, how does that effect how all the other neutral guilds are viewed by others? Each neutral guild should be considered by its own words and deeds.

By now you should know this was IC and was followed thru on... The Samsara allying with the Kami under any guise was noticed...

Your words here have helped greatly to more clearly see what is going on and actions have been put in place.

OOC: Anyone can look back at your posts and see the spin doctor in action, it's time to see where things stand because your actions don't match your words. Lets see who is non-PvP and who is shaky on their RP... /OOC

I didn't bother reading the whole topic but I think what some didn't understand is this : quote "Guardians is an alliance of Neutral and Kami guilds"

It meant the guilds that are the ACTUAL members are either Kami or Neutral
it ddoesn't mean the Karavan is not welcome to join. But i suppose the only way to prove that is to wait till some karas join.

And imo : Kami + Karavan united = Neutrality (in a way)

This Alliance is a "contract" : If u need help protecting your OP, then you can count on us. No faction involved :)
