I would suggest a hotfix where every single dagger hit is multiplied by a factor depending on the dagger speed, not necessarily scale the damage, but e.g. roll twice in sysinfo (microhits), so no need to change animations and (apparently) easier to implement :D something needs to be done :D

That I must say is a grand solution. Here is my counter to that. The fact exists that the primary role of daggers, in my mind, is in breaking the cast of a magician. In such, the more swipes per miute equals more chance to break the incantation. As it is this swipe must be idealy timed and with this being distributedly processed, it already causes problems.

A good quick fix, but not the best fix, unless the timing of those additional hits is factored in.

We have no guarantee that the additional hit is not factored in, i.e. two cancellation attempts per dagger strike?

..and we should not forget to use some hp/stam for those additional hits too :-)

It's kind of messed up for sure... Sad that I want to dual wield, yet another reason stops me... Daggers should have a real boost and fix... Maybe a bonus to Parry thrown in too... Seems they want everyone to be a mage :(

as somone who has just decided to lvl daggers full time i think i shoudl proll test this out too.... grabs daggers.. targets ocyx.. cyas in 5 mins for results

okies so that took me a little longer than 5 mins but i was havin too much fun :)

it seems that whatever i did hpm was about 35 :(

i have 2 max speed/damage daggers and here is wha ti tested....

default action 35-36 hpm
increased damage+acc attack 35-36 hpm
using only 1 dagger 35-36 hpm

i was in light armour

(sorry to zespiole for killing those lumpers :( but congrats for you and fuchuan :P )
