Good news indeed! :)
Jessica Mulligan wrote:Some of you really don’t like any scenario where PvP plays any part, period, end of story.
That might be true for a few, but my strong feeling is that many more that had an issue with Episode 2 were not anti-PvP, but anti-no alternative (me included).

Jessica Mulligan wrote:At the same time, many of you have expressed a preference to keep exploring the nature of the Kitin, how they live and breed and what is to be done about them by the community of Atys, as a whole.

Based on that feedback, we’ve already started working on new Kitin PvE scenarios for you. We’re putting a major effort into it and we expect it to take up much of the available Live Team work cycles until then.
:D :p :D !!
If this is going live, we might actually move closer to seeing one of the originally hyped features back in the game: mass invasions. This will be a strong selling point for SoR.

However, despite being really pleased to see this announcement, I will wait with resubscribing until I see clear indications that we will see this actually in game. My experience since launch showed that Nevrax needs strong signals from the player base, and the financial signal still is the strongest players can give.

Roughly good draw, doesn't sound empty and fake :p

Note that the LORE must be known by players... it will seriously help people understand why (nevrax) stuff are pushed on them

Please find a way to force player reading part of the lore, or the upcoming/ongoing story! The last kitin invasion at The Fount came from nowhere... I asked many people and no one got a clue about it.

I suggest to add a "Lore's note" like the patch note at the loggin screen, related with atys chronicle website, or news, rss feed, in-game window with newspaper (web browser of atys chronicle, so we are in-game and can read game stuff)... B@W ppl read website, full-time-ingame can"t...
I dunno...but the MOTD is really NOT good for that, and an event with 1 speaker at definite time definitely not good to mix with RL.

Although i'm happy to have a chance to slaughter kitins, if we just "jump" from kami/kara war to chIII, fire your background-makers  !! As some suggested, imagine that kitin wanna finish homins weakened from the k/k war or alike... side effect of the war... up to you.

When I was 'young' I was was dissapointed to see how much fun everyone was having in events I couldn't really take part. Then the events stopped! I tried the 'old lands', don't like it.

After waiting five months I am so pleased to see this being promised. A lot of our guild missed out on the previous events and we are going to have a great time when this runs.

This letter has, to some extent, restored my faith.

If this becomes a wholely PvP game I will be out of here faster than you can say 'subscription cancelled'.

It still doesnt answer a lot of questions tho, such as why I should continue to pay the same price per month for half a game. (when faction controlled regions come in, and i HAVE to choose a faction. Even if i NEVER tick the PvP flag.(and i never EVER will.) (i know i COULD remain neutral and gank myself.) )

i think i just confused myself with all that stuff.... ;)

anyway, i realy hope i dont have to leave this game, i do love it, and i love the players.

do you want to make it remotely interesting and not another boss hunt ?

1. set respawn timer on minions around 1 hour or more
- or, for example, make us kill 500 minions, but only 100 is shown at once. respawn should be fast then, but if we have killed 450 minions, then only 50 is shown
2. make it impossible to attack boss before all minions are dead (or add all remaining minions HP to boss, so it would be uber hard to kill him, sum HP regen too to be extra evil)
3. DONT make raid mobs dissapear after "teh boss" is dead
4. make us clean land from raid mobs and/or make them despawn gradually in few RL days (if players "refuse" to hunt them)

Point..
Nevrax really need to understand that listening to the players AND showing that they're listening is very important. Letting it get to the point where people have to start unsubbing really isn't too bright. It isn't going to give any current or new to be players much faith is it.

Next, Nevrax need to understand that we DO want new content but also have to understand that we people came in to the game when it had "blah" and therefore like "blah" and want to keep "blah". "blah" (being the old) with "bleh" (being the new) works.. but "bleh" replacing "blah" really wont because people want additions not total replacements. (editing, improving, ok.. but not taking away what we've always had and like)
